Tell me something, do u see ASR glaring at her everytime they meet ?????????? nahi na... coz ASR has become Arnav now...

Why do u guys argue for the same sern and fighter spirit wali khushi we had back then... true we all loved her wen she challenged ASR and gave him d taste of his own medicine... but that was a year back, we had the hate track going back then... but now its all about love, a love they have both acknowledged.

Also talking about khushi's weakness in the recent times... do u remember her shouting at anyone but Arnav and Shyam, its like since the very begining she is shown to be very accomodative of everyone, remember wen earlier buaji or mami or La treated her badly... she would simply smile at it or ignore it completely... it was just ASR who got on her nerves and that ASR for now is history (though I have a feeling he'll return soon)... so do u really expect her to lash out on dadi now, so if u think she is weak then she has been so althrough.

Further Khushi's past has been kept as a secret in the show untill now, it seems like its our cv's trump card and they'd show it wen the right time comes... and then we'll get a fiery or a regretful khushi, depending on the revelation...

Yes they are highly flawed characters I agree...but then its becoz of these flaws that the show is still on air...once the friction is lost, game over and personally i don't want it to be now...u know beautiful stories are not made in utopias, in fact Plato wouldn't even allow artists in his version of utopia...

Just stating my opinion...

If Khuhsi's character means she forgets and just 'romances' well then I am not very convinced with such a character- Which is the point of the debate. you may disagree. 😊

I DONT want a woman who takes everything lying down.
I DONT want a woman who thinks every problem out there is for her to solve.
I DONT want a woman who thinks everything is her fault.

All views are welcome on RCs thread. that is as long as the thread is open 😆

If weak means the character is shown to lack strength or mettle, then Khushi is not the weakest character, ASR is. weak, cowardly and totally unable to stand up to face a situation head on (thereby extending an MU), he is closely followed by Anjali as a weak character.

A hell yeah to the first one.

As for the second one a very debatable maybe. 😃 As a character they've portrayed her (For the last few weeks i mean.) as someone who can put up with any amount of pain and disgrace. For me that's not very appealing. I can't really relate to her. Not a very good example for the current generation i feel. BUT she does have a never say die attitude which is commendable. Her unconditional love is one of her very beautiful and strong attributes.

what i am trying to say is they had a strong character who've they've ruined now. I remember her pushing arnav during the Guest House scene and that's what made me glued to IPK. Not Arnav not even Arhi but that single moment when Khushi showed Arnav his place. Is it too much to want that again?

As for the ASR bit. SJji iss thread ko close karne ke liye log queue pe khade hai agar mai ASR aur Khushi ke baare mai ek hi thread par baath kiya tho...😆 Lets just leave it at I agree.

What most people are saying seems as if they think that Khushi doesn't stand up for herself anyone and she lets herself be mistreated which is completely TRUE in my opinion.

However I strongly feel that Khushi is by far the strongest character of this show.
She was just a young kid when her parents died in a car accident and yet she set up her life and learned to live it to the fullest.
She was basically tortured by her boss but she got through it believing in her god.
She was forced to marry a person who she was falling in love with to save her sister's marriage and yet she she still confronted him about it. She tried her best to stay happy.
The man who was the reason for the majority of the problems in her life.. the man who falsely got engaged to her lived under the same roof as her and yet she still remained strong.
She saved her husband from kidnappers and revealed the truth of her husband's kidnapper.
She forgave everyone... every single person in the Raizada family who misunderstood her including her own husband. Her heart forgave him without an apology. Her heart is more beautiful than the most beautiful gem on this planet.
She returned love for hate.
She has the power to forget the past.
She has the power to listen to her elders accuse her. She has the power to remain quiet due to respect. Very little people have the power of tolerance and patience and YES she needs to start standing up for herself but her qualities are what make everyone eventually understand her gorgeous personality.
Her qualities are her strength- how can such a girl be the weakest on IPKKND?

As i always say strong words bring out strong debates. 😊

Yes I love Khushi's character. Perhaps even my fav character from the show. She is strong. but her character development has been the weakest. The title can interpreted in more ways than one!

That was a good sum up of all the things the girl had to endure. 😊

I completely agree. I don't want to see Gopi Vahu part 2. There are other serials like that for gossip aunties. I liked this serial because it portrayed women power and strong female lead who gave tit for tat and did not cry and whine in temples. I want that fighter Khushi back.

It makes me feel frustrated to see that a girl who could speak out to the unjust behavior of Preetika's in laws, can't speak out against her own. So is she only courageous in front of strangers and cowardly at home? Why not respectfully ask Dadi that "I agree our first meeting was not good, but I apologized for that. Now what grudge you have with me?" Or ask mamiji "You talked to me politely and treated me with respect when Arnav ji was kidnapped. I freed him on my own. So you should be happy. Why are you treating me like shit now? It's not my fault that the kidnappers turned out to be Anjali ji's husband. I did not ask him to kidnap Arnav ji. Would you have preferred I keep my mouth shut to keep Anjali ji happy so that his next attempt to bring this family on the street become successful?"

I want Khushi to defend herself. Not have a crutch called Arnav Singh Raizada. It's good to have a support. But not when that support becomes a crutch and makes you weak.

Exactly! Well said. I love the support that ASR's supporting her. But i want her to stand up for herself as well.

hmmm but I think Khushi is still very strong as a character

yes I also hate her spineless behavior when Anjali is concerned
to be more specific I hate Anjali like anything a 30+ woman craving for attention and showing child like mood tantrums is nauseating, and to add to the misery there is Raizada clan which revolves around her day and night as if she is two year old and whosoever pampers her to strengthen her delusion is an idiot ( including Khushi)

yes Khushi is like everybody's Scapegoat and I was also heartbroken when she heard all ASR bakwass abt her being the reason behind Anjali's misery and said she is not even angry at him

but her behavior towards dadi is justified I suppose
you see answering back to ppl of your age is one thing and to elders is other thing
I can understand it coz in my family it is considered as a gruesome manner less act
my Aaji (my maternal grandmother) is so much like Dadi
When she visits us its such a hard time of our life
she keeps on roaming around house lecturing anybody and everybody(even neighbors), she would not let you do anything in your way, she thinks what she does is right and what others do is wrong, I am in final year BDS and she screams at me in front of my friends and relatives ( which leaves me mad ) and the list goes on; but I am not permitted to answer her back;if I sometimes answer back my mother she would not mind, but if I answer back her mother she would not talk to me. even I feel bad after I answer Aaji coz she is old (72 years).
so if Khushi gives Dadi tit for tat it would be a anti-khushi action
and I think most of us will not like it too

tolerance is biggest strength she has, it is something not possessed by many
and that does not make her weakest character

but she must learn to respect herself
she must not bear all bak-bak thrown at her by ASR, Anjali, Payal, and Aakash.
as far as Mami is concerned I think that illiterate woman is not worth of even talking to Khushi
so she must just ignore her like an insect

There is a thin line between being tolerant and being masochistic. The Khushi who put up with Bua-ji and Amma's taunt growing up as a child was tolerant.

This girl who they are showing who can put with allegations like she lured Shyam, that's not being tolerant. That way far gone from being tolerant.

Sometimes i wonder why we waste so much time over a piece of fiction. yeah yeah i know even i ve been guilty of this unhealthy obsession with whats all said & done JUST A SHOW.

Yes this is a free world & everyone has a right to express their views, opinions. And who doesn't honestly like a good, healthy, heated debate. But sometimes i just get plain bored with the amount of dissection & psychobabble which goes on in this forum.

Its high time ppl accepted the fact that this is just a serial with a half-baked story line which is very cliched & so M&Bish. Anyone looking for a strong plot with believable characters, logical progression of events, realism etc is watching the wrong show.

My brains went on vacation the moment KKG was hired by weepy willow to teach sanskari to LA the BLAH. If ppl can stomach that with all those stupid lectures frm KKG about ek chutki sindoor & moronic attitude by Nani & her Gangajal towards LA then they must b ready to tolerate the weakest, most inane plots & characters that the CVs throw our way.

So i ve stopped thinking & exercising my negligible little grey cells. Logic/Realism & IPKKND don't go hand in hand!

I seldom take part in debates cos they are emotionally draining at times.

But when Rockerchic is here then I have to fear and venture in, hai na?

Khushi Kumari Gupta forced Singh Raizada..

Two emotionally strong and at the same time downright weak characters bound together in unholy matrimony.

If people rejoiced at ASR being back, I want to rejoice when I see KKG back.

Khushi is a woman capable of showcasing great emotions she is a fighter all right, but her weakness is Arnav and she needs to make him her strength, not a pillar to lean on.

I think love makes you crazy but it's making khushi more pagal and less cuter.

It's high time she chooses to be an equal. Rather CVs show her as an equal, a fighter and an eloquent one.

I will divulge in more when I get my thoughts in line.

Love...

aap bhi na MEji😳

Her weakness is Arnav. for me that makes her so much more beautiful as a character. But the way they are showcasing it, it borderlines definitely on more paagal and less on cute.

ASR and Khuhsi are wonderfully flawed character, that's what made them so appealing. But now they are going over the top withboth the character. Making him say whatever the hell he wants and making her accept everything and anything chucked in her direction.
