Hi All,

With this leap news around and Mallu back that too pregnant I am thinking whether it will be positive or negative for Ashni.

I know you all are happy & I dont want to spoil your mood but just couldnt stop thinking what may happen just before the leap.

I hope they dont take a 5 yr leap with Ashni separated.

This maybe a good element for TRP increase as we have recently seen many shows going for a leap where just before the leap the leads get separated.

This thought would not have come to my mind if Mallu had not returned back in Ashni's life.

But now Mallu will be having a kid ... a kid which Ashu wants in his own life and has been asking Nidhi for quite sometime & she has refused for it.

So I am quite skeptical about this leap news.

I really don't think we need to worry so much...KPji has clearly indicated that Nidhi has asked for two years time ...and then there is the duration of Mallika's pregnancy...I doubt the show can possibly cover this entire time period in normal time...am assuming the leap is because of that...I maybe wrong here but I am just trying to stay positive!

Leap shud be for 2 years becos no new characters, people can't tolerate Mallika's negativity,n above all KPji has indicated the story is taking a new turn.Showing Nidhi became DR.. Ashni to start a new life with their biological baby. The story has to move 2 d next level.I need to ask people one thing--
With late pregnancy ladies tend to get into problems before n after conception .D problems implied .Is it not appilicable to Male (with growing age they may also face this )I don't how much right I'm!!! I would like to get answers.

Radha, Dr Malvika has clarified on this forum that the more aged either parent is, the greater the chances of the child having ADHD...so yes, there are issues...but I am assuming that Dr Ashutosh and Dr Nidhi are aware of these medical consequences!

Mostly it is not applicable to men There is a biological reason for that. A girl has complete set of immature eggs when she is born. After puberty she releases an egg / month till menopause .The egg has arrested cell division and the cell division completes only after fertilization. The longer it takes to get fertilized i.e. pregnant the chances of replication errors increase.( reason for many genetic disorders) A man does not store sperms The maximum life of a sperm is1- 2 days .For him age is immaterial. So it is safe to have a baby before the woman is 30 ideally. After 35 risks of genetic anomalies are higher.

I am not aware of this...Dr Malvika had mentioned the chances of the child having ADHD as a result of Ashutohs's advanced age...that apart I think the age factor might have something to do with fertility itself...and yes, the chances of being born with some birth defect or the other are much higher when the mother is post thirty...particularly if it is a first pregnancy...that is what I have heard!
