Why didn't Sush become as big as Aish?

Sush isn't any less beautiful than Aish, nor is she a worse actor. But she's nowhere to be seen and even though Aish is taking a break from films, she continues to be in the news.

What did Sush lack? Is it her personal life and bad decisions with men?

In Biwi no 1, Anil says to Salman: "Tum bhabhi se chupke yahan aish kar rahe ho!" Salman replies, "Aish nahi, Sush!" 😆

well what can we say

i guess she didnt have the innocent on her face which aishwarya rai had..

she couldnt have pulled it off the way aishwarya did in HDDCS aur hamara dil aapke paas hai..

Sush didn't play much roles as Aish. Besides, she didn't marry a Bacchan!

Sush said that in an interview the reason is b/c she doesn't like to work as much as Aishu does. Aishu is a workaholic and Sush doesn't like to devote too much of her life to such hectic schedules. But Sush was able to adopt 2 children and do so much philanthropic work b/c of working less in BW--so I could that success too...she's accomplished a lot too.

In the beginning there was a big camp supporting aishwarya right from the miss India contest and onwards. Sushmita didn't have the same camp following and support. Watch her isi ka nam zindagi interview where one of her friends reveals it.

After that I think it's personal choice of how much they wanted to work

... Because:

A) She is/was taller than most of her counterparts. The only two that fit her height were Abhishek Bachchan (🤢) and Jackie Shroff (👎🏼) and other random ones like Rajat Bedi and what not.

B) Sush was never as dedicated as Ash. Ash was always in the limelight for her endorsements and what not.

C) Sush's dialog delivery and facial expressions are very annoying. She tries TOO hard.

D) Some things are better left unsaid!

Right from her debut Sushmita was considered a better actress than Ash. But Sushmita was told she couldnt be cast in films opposite the leading stars of her time as she towered over most of them. Apart from that Sushmita went and had affairs with losers while Ash targetted the most eligible men in the industry. I mean Salman vs Vikram Bhatt...the choice is obvious! The affair with Salman kept her in the news on one hand and Salman's interest in her helped her bag many of the films she did which she is still is known for. Vivek and Abhishek were also the hottest bachelors of their time. Ofcourse now being the Bachchan bahu helps keep Ash in limelight. Even if a non-actress would have been the Bachchan bahu she would have been talked about constantly.

Sushmita after Vikram Bhatt went on to have affairs with guys like Randeep Hooda and some new director chap. Being linked with her helped THEM not her.

Sush is the most under-rated actress of Bollywood. I take pride in announcing that I am her FIRST FAN!! When no one gave her a chance in the Miss India contest, I took one look at her and said, "She is going to beat Aishwarya Rai to win the title" My cousins smirked, snickered, and said I had gone crazy. They made bets with me. Needless to say, I won BIG that night!!!😉

I love her attitude; I love her aptitude; I love her honesty; I love her diligence. I love love her.

She has made tons of mistakes (I HATED the fact that she dated married men, for example), but she is also one of the most wonderful human beings in Bollywood. And as someone who likes to read and write, Sush is a role model. She has this enviable talent to make profound statements with utmost simplicity. There was a time when I had a list of her quotations on my laptop. She is THE most intelligent actress of Bollywood. No one can ORATE like her. Her body language and diction are peerless.

HELL, SUSH SHOULD BE IN HOLLYWOOD. Bollywood doesn't deserve her. And for all those who said Sush cannot look as innocent as Rai, I say Rai can never look as POWERFUL as Sush in Samay or Main AIsa Hi Hoon. She was also fantastic in Fihaal and even Paisa Vasool! And NO ONE has looked prettier in a sari than Sush in MHN!

Sush's best attribute is perhaps a complete sense of security. She is the most secure person in this industry. It pained me to hear tales of how she was snubbed by fellow-models after winning the two beauty pageants. A lesser person would have broken down or at least bitched. Sush took everything in her stride.

Content with her children and her entrepreneurship, Sen is a class apart. Love you dear, forever!!!!!
