KANK may bid alvida to theatres

New Delhi: Karan Johar's magnum opus, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is now headed for a court room battle.

A film producer named Biswaroop Roy Choudhary has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court stating that he had taken the copyright to the title Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna way before Karan Johar did.

The next date of hearing of the case is on August 21.

According to the Delhi High Court, if the allegations are proven true, then Karan Johar's film would have to be pulled off the theatres from August 21 till the final hearing on the case.

Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is slated to release on August 11.

i am really not too crazy bout KANKz release...buh i hope this is not true...cauz if KANK getz pulled off from theatres then it may miss a chance of getting the super hit status at the box office and Karan may face HUGE loss which may even cauz him a bankruptcy

thanks 4 sharing....i think that sum other director might have wanted 2 use the same title, but what's the use of creating so many problems now... the film is made and ready to release... i hope nothing like this happens.....

KANK rules!!! I've read about this before! Karan has said the name of his film for a year now, all of a sudden this man says it was the name of his film! What a lie! He just wants to create trouble, he could've brought this lawsuit up a year ago not now!
