In the b'ful locales of kasauli…a house is bustling with activities as one & only daughter of the house "Palak" & Saachi's bestest di …as she calls her is getting engaged…

Palak was the like an elder sister Saachi never had…being 2yrs elder than Saachi… she was her best friend, confidante, her guide…everything…they had first met in school…when Palak's father got posted in kasauli…& their family was neighbor & since then Palak & Sacchi have been together …& now Palak is getting engaged to her long time boy friend Gautam...

Saachi had been just in first year of college…young bubbly chirpy girl…who was always hyper excited for everything…as Palak used to call her…Always full of life …full of spunk…she made friends very instantly…Guess that was the quality that made her friends with Vivaan in just 2 days of their meeting…

Saachi had first met Vivaan, as Gautam's best friend …he was almost like brother to him… she met Vivaan alongwith Gautam as they had gone to pick him at the airport…

They met…no exactly bumped into each other…

At airport

Saachi—To be Jiju…maine aapse kaha tha hum late hojayenge…ab dekhiye aapke friend kahi nahi dikh rahe hai? Aap gadi thodi jaldi nahi chala sakte the…

Gautam—Palak was right tu humesha hyper rehti hai…relax! Hum zyaada late nahi hue...aur aisi barish mein what u expect me to drive at full speed... & dont worry... flight land hue sirf 10min hue hai…itni tension mat le…just look around…main udhar dekhta hoon…tu udhar caf counter ke paas dekh…

Saachi(nodded)—Ok…(she realized how she will recognize he has never seen Vivaan) par main pehchanugi kaise?…(she saw Gautam has already left to look the other corner)

She looked around aimlessly…as she turned to her left…there went *Splash* the cold drink on a person's shirt…spoiling his starch white shirt…as Saachi caught off guard in order to balance herself she held the strangers hand…but accidently his foot slipped making him fall along with her on top…

Saachi was abt to shout "dikhai nahi deta" …but one look at him…& she still remembers at that very moment her heart had gone all erratic… she was looking in the deepest dark eyes she has seen…it was as if she was hypnotized by those eyes & she can continue looking in them…Till now she had only heard & read abt those handsome gorgeous boys …she didn't knew they really exist …Now she knows what it means to swept off feet by looking at the guy…

Somewhere she cud register some1 saying something but its only when she heard a voice closer to her ears…

Voice—No matter how much u are njoying the situation but don't u think its still indecent in a public place…

That made her come out of her daze & she gaped him mouth open…

Voice—Now do u mind Madam…ya humlog aise hi rahenge…

Saachi embarrassed got up & mumbled "Sorry"… Person just shook his head …coz he had seen this happening to most of the girls he has come across till now…so this was nothing new for him… He went ahead mumbling its OK & flashed a smile at her … which was a wrong act coz Saachi got lost in that dreamy smile…she didn't knew for how long she stared at his retreating back getting lost in the crowd…its only when her cell rang she came out of her thots…it was Gautam

Gautam—Saachi…I got my friend…hum yaha parking lot mein hai…& listen mujhe thoda sa kaam Dad is calling me toh tu Vivaan ko ghar drop kardena…OK…

Saachi—who toh main kardungi…par apni engagement ke din office jayenge…di will kill u…

Gautam—usko pata lagne se pehle I will come back…isliye I am asking u to drop Vivaan…warna pehle usse ghar drop karunga phir office jaunga toh late hojaunga…tu ab yaha aaja…

Saachi—Ok…

When she reached the parking lot she saw Gautam was talking to a person with his back towards her…Gautam saw her & smiled …& introduced her to Vivaan…& she looked at him in awe…he was the same stranger…Vivaan saw him still staring at him…didn't even acknowledged his stretched hand as he greeted her…He waved his hand in front of her…

Vivaan—are u OK…I said…nice to see u again…

Saachi(came out of her thots)—huh!! Haan…same here …(smiled)

Gautam—Ok now… I am getting late…saachi tu Vivaan ko drop kardegi ghar par ...aur mom ko keh dena…

Saachi—relax to be jiju…main drop kardungi…& aunty ko bhi samjha dungi…don't worry…

Vivaan(whispered to gautam)—ermm I guess tere saath office jana safe hoga…yeh pure raaste mujhe dekhte jayegi kahin accident na karde…

Gautam(laughed)—now dats disadvantage of being a handsome boy…but don't worry…she will manage…

Saachi looked them confused at what they were discussing & laughing abt…

Saachi—ab chale…& jiju don't be late warna mein di se complain kardungi…

Gautam –achaa meri maa....

Throughout the way two things didn't stopped the drizzling rain & Saachi's non-stop chattering...she went on telling him all abt kasauli…when he just mentioned that this is his first visit…for once Vivaan thot he shud have carried ear plugs…"Kitna bolti hai" but nice & simple girl…he looked at her dressed in simple pink churidaar…with her open hair…she looked adorable…two cute dimples when she smiled…

After dropping home Saachi cudn't help but feel embarrassed how stupidly she had behaved by gaping at him & staring him…what he must be thinking abt me….but she confessed to herself that till now she had never been attracted to any1 so strongly… Palak joined her & she was surprised to see her standing at the window staring at the house in front where Gautam's family & friends are staying…

Palak called her name twice…but saachi didn't replied…until she shook her…

Saachi—Di…aap kab aayi…

Palak—kabse tujhe bula rahi thi…tu sun hi nahi rahi…kya hua?

Saachi—ermm nahi kuch nahi…aapko kuch kaam tha…

Palak—haan main pooch rahi thi Gautam kaha hai…tere saath gaya tha na Vivaan ko lene…

Saachi(teasing)—ohh…missing Jiju…

Palak(blushed)—shut up…main toh aise hi…

Saachi—aise hi pooch rahi thi right…anyways…jiju ko kuch kaam tha…who airport se hi chale gaye the… & aap unhe miss karna chodiye aur mere saath ready hone chaliye shaam ko engagement hai & 3 already baj gaye hai….come on…

Vivaan charmed everyone with his wit & humour…soon he was favourite among all…All girls who had attended engagement surely got smitten by him…& each girl tried to draw his attention… & in turn he also njoyed all the attention he was getting…but still time & again his gaze followed Saachi…as she stood out from rest of the girls coz of vivaciousness, her simplified beauty… but she seemed to be busiest as she was running from her house to Palak's house making sure everthing is under control…

Wedding was scheduled after 3 weeks of engagement…& Gautam refused Vivaan to go back…he asked him to stay back here in kasauli only as its just 3 weeks…they wud spend it together as they might know when they wud get such an opportunity again…Vivaan agreed…& no one was happy more than Saachi…

In these 3 weeks Saachi's fondness had grown towards Vivaan…the more time they spend with each other…the more & more she fell in love with him…They got to spend more time with each other as together they worked for Palak-Gautam's wedding…

Apart from wedding preparations they had went along Palak-gautam & few other friends for camping,hiking…

It was not the first time that she had come there for a picnic…infact every year with family and friends atleast once they come and this particular view was Saachi's favourite…endless stretch of greenery & snow capped peaks in background…made it more b'ful ….she loved it here…she got lost in beauty when she heard a voice from behind

Vivaan—Its b'ful…

Startled to hear a voice she almost stumbled when Vivaan caught her…

Saachi—ermm tum I mean aap yaha?

Somewhere she felt jealous of the attention he has been getting from past few days…all the girls around hogged him almost all the time…

Vivaan—I think hum sab saath mein aaye hai…nahi…

Saachi—nahi…I mean I thot u were busy…(eyeing the group of Palak's cousins he had been talking to a while ago)

Vivaan—not exactly… par tum yaha akele… (he got busy clicking away pictures in his digital camera)

Saachi was about to get up and move away when he made her pose & he clicked the pic and played back to show the picture… Saachi was intrigued the way pic had come out b'ful… he played back few more & Saachi was surprised to see few more of herself…she hadn't noticed him taking them….

Saachi—yeh aapne kab li…I didn't realized…

Vivaan(smiled)—dats why …they are so natural and nice….

Saachi(all smiles)—Can I have copies…

Vivaan(in a serious tone)-- Yes you may provided …tum mujhe aap kehna band kardo…& show me around more b'ful places here…

That broke the ice b/w them & soon they went around various place in coming weeks… he took pictures of place & ofcourse few of hers…without her knowing...Gradually they were ease in each other's company…almost as they were long lost friends…

In these whole month Saachi's fondness had grown towards Vivaan…the more time they spend with each other…the more & more she fell in love with him…They got to spend more time with each other as together they worked for Palak-Gautam's wedding…

Initially Saachi dismissed it as just mere crush infatuation…but more she thot abt Vivaan she confessed to herself …that its more than that…& she is falling hard for him…She liked everything abt Vivaan…She knew it was ridiculous as they had just met weeks back…but she knew it herself that whenever with Vivaan she feels great…it seems perfect…

During the following days … they became good friends, whenever they found time, they sat away from others, chatting and sharing their views… Saachi shared abt her dreams, her future, her career…

Saachi's friends soon lost interest in Vivaan and started flirting with other boys instead…as with marriage nearer more of gautam's friends came & new affairs started, the electric atmosphere combined with marriage rituals also had its effect on Vivaan & Saachi….they started moving away from the crowd, holding hands and in the night when everybody went to bed…walked under moonlight…

They had their share of closeness & togetherness…

Saachi was unaware that Palak started having her own doubts…Palak was not sure but she suspected abt them…She had seen them many times walking & strolling in the back garden or terrace…holding hands…walking together…& Saachi returning late at nights…

Palak's doubts confirmed when she had a chat with Saachi…& like always she was not able to hide it from her & confessed her that she is in Love with Vivaan…

Palak had heard abt Vivaan from Gautam…Vivaan was never a commitment guy…He never got emotionally involved in a relationship…flirting & being friendly with all girls was second nature to him….he never went steady with a girl for long…she doubted if Vivaan wud end up hurting Saachi & just taking her for a ride...& Saachi being innocent wud end up heart broken…

Palak tried to make Saachi understand…but she had faith in Vivaan…she didn't believed Palak…but she assured her also…she will do no wrong…she is mature enough to understand it…

After their chat they didn't get much time to talk again as all got busy with upcoming wedding …

Its been 2-3 days after Palak-Saachi's wedding…Vivaan wud stay back for 1 more week as Gautam asked him to as he can leave along with them as they will leave for their honeymoon…

Through all these days Saachi was waiting for him to confess…many a times she had brought up the topic indirectly…but Vivaan always diverted the topic…

So, finally she decided instead of waiting she wud confess it herself…

Saachi(to herself)—pehle main kahu ya Vivaan kya fark padta hai ?

So she called up Vivaan & asked him to meet at the usual place they are used to meet quite often…

Its been drizzling a little…its bee more than 10minutes Saachi waited for Vivaan…she checked her watch regularly…till now she had been confident but as she saw Vivaan arriving she felt all her confidence vanishing… she had been a nervous wreck

Vivaan(came almost running trying to save himself from being wet as the slight drizzling had turned harder now.. he was almost wet)—aisa kya important baat thi jo itni baarish mein bulaya…(she remained silent) tum keh rahi thi u wanted to say something…

Saachi—ermm who…

Vivaan—bolo…

Saachi—main keh rahi thi ki…main I…who…

Vivaan(holded her hand)—tum itni nervous kabse hone lagi…I thot u loved to talk non-stop…

Saachi(blushed)—ermm main…jo keh rahi thi…actually kehna tha ki…no I mean poochna tha tumse…

Vivaan–kya?

Saachi—who…I was thinking…I mean …(she took a deep breath) actually I was thinking hume Mom-dad ko humare bare mein bata dena chaiye…

Vivaan(confused)—mom-dad I mean Uncle aunty ko kya …I didn't get u…

Saachi—ab unhe toh batana padega…na I mean hum shadi karenge toh

Vivaan's whole body stiffened noticeably & looked intently at Saachi…

Vivaan—what?

Saachi—haan …since I love you…& I am sure tum bhi karte ho…toh shadi bhi obviously hogi…

Vivaan—par…maine aisa kab kaha…I mean…I don't remember saying anything of this sort…I never thot abt it…

Saachi cud feel her heart sinking…tears sprang to her eyes…

Saachi(in a choked voice)—matlab u don't love me…ab tak jo hum saath the…it doesn't matter to u…(tears trickled down) di was right… di ne kitna samjhaya…par main pagal thi…unki baat nahi mani…

Vivaan(sighed)—saachi…tum (he tried to hold her hand but she pulled it back…& she moved back to leave the place…)

Vivaan caught up with her & stopped her from leaving…& hugged her tight…

Saachi(cried)—leave me alone…just leave me…(but he didn't leave her until she calmed down...Saachi composed herself)I am okay now…(she moved away from him)

Vivaan(tried to explain)—Saachi…I wont lie that I don't like you…I surely do…par…(cupped his face & wiped the tears) par tum mujhe janti ho…I am not into relationships & all…& I am sure u don't want me to force into one…aur usse bhi important baat…we both are too young to make serious commitments…u are just 18 & me just 22… we cant hurry into a relation…& what If it doesn't work…aur jab rishte toote hai toh bahut takleef hoti hai…aaj tumhe sab simple lag raha hai...par waqt ke saath tumhe laga tumhara faisla galat hai...then...

Saachi—I know it will work…& I know I cudn't love any1 else…as much as I love you…atleast hum ek mauka toh de sakte hai …

Vivaan(started to loose his patience)—tum samajh kyun nahi rahi ho…abhi tumhe lag raha hai this will work out but…I know myself…mujhse nahi hoga…I am not meant for serious relation…& shadi toh bilkul bhi nahi…(sighed) Saachi abhi you need to concentrate on studies…abhi tumhare saamne poora future hai…marriage shud not be a thot for u…dekhna ek baar tum uspar focus karogi…u will forget me…saalon baad is infatuation crush ke baare mein sochkar hasogi…

Saachi—I wonder itne aansu dene ke baad zindagi main has paugi ya nahi…

Vivaan—saachi tum…don't do this to urself…plzz…tum aise

Saachi—meri fikr karne ki zarut nahi hai…I will survive…sirf dil hi toota hai…its Ok…& I promise tumhare baare mein nahi sochungi…& surely waqt ke saath bhool jaungi tumhe…don't worry meri wajah se tumhe kabhi pareshani nahi hogi…

She left from there…without turning back to look at him once….

Vivaan stood there standing in rain for long...He cudn't forget the tears in her eyes the hurt look on her face...

Whole night he spend a sleepless night...The Very next day Vivaan left Kasauli…
