Saachi was trying her best to save herself from pouring rain'she had been late from leaving from office'as tomorrow their new boss wud be coming from London'who wud be returning to India after 5 years'uptil now office was managed by Mr.Aditya Sablok, who also happens to be the son in law of the Singhania's ' Saachi being the HR manager'was solely responsible for all arrangements of the welcome of their new boss'after she completed all the last minute preparations she was the last one to leave the office'but the weather had changed suddenly it was bright sunny in the afternoon & now it seems as if rains are not gonna stop'This happens when you are new to a city'it just been 1 month she had come to Mumbai from small hometown in Kasauli'She cursed herself for not carrying an umbrella'
All through her life she has stayed in the hills...with her parents & teenage kid brother Dj oops Dheeraj'how he hates when she calls her that'Saachi being the eldest & only daughter got everything she desired'so after her MBA when she told her parents that she got placement in one of the biggest companies of SGI (Singhania Group of Industries) their parents gave her permission instantly'& her parents were also supposed to accompany her'but Dj's boards exams were approaching so it will be after exams they wud be joining her' until then she wud be surviving all alone in this big city'

As she unlocked her apartment'she hated rains all the more seeing herself all wet & drenched state'already she had enough reasons to hate rains'
After freshening'& her dinner 'she switched on her radio to her fav radio station'& she settled with her fav cappuccino coffee on her fav seat near the window'she cud see rain still falling hard'& people rushing across 'street children njoying showers'jumping in water puddles'njoying themselves'& The Radio jockey blabbering abt rains, calling it the most romantic season'how romance blooms in rains'& she played a nice romantic number'requested by one of the listeners'

The song made Saachi nostalgic'it was some one's fav song'even used to hum that song in his b'ful voice'she shook her head after so many years 5 yrs to be exact 'she still remember such small thing about the person' about whom she has promised herself she will never think abt' the person who never thot abt her in these 5 yrs never tried to contact her'& here, she still remember "His" fav song'

The same song was played on FM stereo in a expensive BMW ' making the person sitting in the car smile closing his eyes'he asked his driver to increase the volume'How he used to love this song'even sing it for her'used to love the feeling he got with her in his arms' the way she used to blush when he used to whisper the lines from this song in her ears' Its been 5 years He still remembers it was even raining when he had kissed her' he still reminisces the softness of her lips' her shyness'her innocence her blush'but does she still remembers him'what if she had forgotten him'what if she had found someone else 'what if she is married by now'
The thought itself made his heart ache'but wudn't she be married by now afterall it was him who had backed out from the relation'.
He came out of his thots when the car stopped & driver was trying to gain his attention'He was warmly welcomed by his bother-in-Law & his Di'his only family '

Lost in her memories Sachi didn't realized she had fallen asleep in an uncomfortable position'she looked at the time it was 6am she need to get ready on time 'she rushed to get ready'today she cant afford to be late'not only her but nobody in office'infact she had been early than others to make sure everything is managed well'
Reaching office she was relieved to see everything under control'& all set'minutes later she came to know that new boss have arrived & just meeting all employees & wud be up on executive floor in ten minutes'at that moment her phone rang it was her mother like always'her mother used to chat with her every morning'as Saachi finished her call'she cud hear Aditya calling her '.
Saachi smiled brightly at Aditya as he came across as friendly & warm person 'inspite of being the boss he always have been a considerate boss'seeing Saachi'Aditya called out for his brother in law "Vivaan"
Aditya'ahh here is our HR manager Vivaan'tum sab employees se mil liye'except her'
Vivaan excusing himself from conversation with Mr.Gupta their oldest employee'turned his attention to Aditya...
Vivaan'Yes Jiju'.aap kis se'(& he paused'.he was shocked'.surprised'happy'delighted)
Saachi holds her breath as their eyes remain locked'his steel gray with her soft honey ones. It was as if time had frozen all around them and that it was only the two of them, no one else. She searches into his eyes to see if there is any hint of recognition, if he remembers her at all from 5 years ago. A part of her wishes that he doesn't, but another part of her wishes that he does'
Saachi came out of her thots when Aditya nudged her'introduced her to Vivaan'Aditya went on praising Saachi'but Vivaan was busy looking atSaachi
Seeing him staring 'she cudn't deny he still has the same effect on her as it was 5 yrs back'& he will surely have same effect even if she met him 50 yrs later'no matter how much she tried she cant remain unaffected'still she composed herself
Saachi'Goodmorning, Sir' (she stressed on Sir'she denied to show any hint of recoginition)
She looks on at him in a dazed confused way. This man standing before her nowhere resembled the man she had met 5 yrs back in Kasauli'He was flirtatious, jocular, and carefree'the fun loving guy who stole her heart'The guy whom she had fallen in love with'but this man is serious with an air of arrogance in him and looks as if he hasn't smiled in ages'
Saachi(seeing him still gazing at her & almost most of staff staring at them'she repeated herself)'goodmorning sir'& nice to meet you'Vi(she corrected herself)Mr.Singhania'
She watches as he glances down at her outstretched hand and slides his large, masculine hand into hers and take it into a firm handshake'
Vivaan--Likewise'. (he decided to play along if she isn't showing recognition he will also do same) nice to see u again'
Aditya(surprised)'again? Tum kab mile saachi se'she just joined 1 month back'
Vivaan'who '
Saachi(interrupted)'ermm'I am sorry par hum pehle kabhi nahi mile'(she tried to remove her hand) & I wud like to have my hand back'
Her hand tingles from his touch and heat fuses inside of her by his burning gaze on her'she tried to take back her hand but he refused to let it go'Vivaan was surprised at her tone'she was the same girl who had spent hours holding hands with..at that moment his cell rang & giving up he left her hand ...turned his attention to the call' finishing it he asked Aditya to come along
Vivaan(back to his professional self)' I guess I will have to meet rest of staff later'Mr.Mathur agaye hai'
Aditya'Haan chalo'
Saachi watches as Vivaan turns around and looks on until his retreating figure disappears along with Aditya. She was hoping for a sense of relief with him being gone, but her mind and body was still in a chaotic mess' Her mentality has gone right out of the window now that Vivaan is here' She cannot possibly be fine with him in this very building' The mere image of him troubles her. How can she rest in peace knowing that he is around'She cursed why the world has to be so small' that 2 people can meet again ' she wished she cud vanish somewhere or better all this happens to be a dream & Vivaan is not there new boss'or best of all Vivaan vanishes 'like he had 5 years back'
