Celebrities being sensitive and showing concern about mishaps through messages on social networking is one thing, and Ram Gopal Varma doing the same is another.
The filmmaker recently, tweeted on Monday night, referring to the incident where a gunman dressed in black and wearing a helmet, body armor and a gas mask opened fire outside the movie theatre in Colorado. He said: "So glad tht Batman killer was not around when I made Aag..othrwise instead of audience he might have shot me..that would have made many people happy but not me." 😲
In the tweet, he referred to his movie RGV ki Aag which was a remake of the blockbuster film Sholay, that had bombed at the box office. Stating something so irreverent on a micro-blogging site, we wonder if he plans to make a film on it too. Like in the past also, soon after the terror attacks in Mumbai, Varma visited the site alongwith former Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh and actor Riteish Deshmukh. It was speculated that he might make a film on the attacks. He later went on to announce his decision to make a film and was quoted by TOI, saying, "After my tryst with so-called the underworld films, I would consider this film as a greatest challenge of my career."
Come on RGV, we don't need a Joker in a situation like this.
