Umm, really?

Its just a random pose of a woman laying in bed. I'm sure there are MANY places with a girl posing this way with this camera angle.
Nothing else about the poster is even REMOTELY close to the book cover.
And why are we always hell bent on assuming that everthing has to be copied?

Breaking News - Heroine's poster is inspired from Kareena's own photoshoot 🤪
Honestly, if I can find past photos of Kareena laying in a similar pose, I'm sure there are other photos of other actresses also laying down in such a pose. Its such a GENERIC pose that I cant believe people think that a BOOK COVER was the inspiration for it.
The pose is generic, the poster has its own feel because of the background and what it depicts.

^^^Thats the promblem with it. Its too common to stand out and be different. Anyways the inspiration has been found. Coming up next from Bombay Times.

Latest poster of a Kareena Kapoor-starrer is an international rip-off PS: Earlier, Aishwarya's poster of the same film was a copy, too

Kareena Kapoor's much-awaited Heroine poster isn't an original. After taking a look at Bebo's pose, we realised it's a copy of one of Mariah Carey's promotional photos for her The Emancipation of Mimi album. Mariah was shot by world famous celeb photographer David LaChapelle who's photographed everyone from Britney Spears, Hillary Clinton to David Beckham and Muhammad Ali while Kareena's poster is designed by an Indian design company. Now, inspiration is a form of flattery, but the designers of the posters have gone as far as to retain the exact pose and the backdrop of a bed like Carey's photo. The only difference being that while the diva is smiling in the camera, Bebo's expression is quite dramatic, given the tone of the film. However, this isn't the first time the film's poster looks like an imitation. The initial poster with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan unveiled at Cannes was identical to a foreign film titled Cover Story in concept. Both the posters resemble film magazine covers with the titles 'explosive' used in the headline.

why so cliche? they could have come up with something better and different. The first one with her lying on bed is so overused and the second one looks more like a still from a masala commercial flick!
