PART 37

days passed and geet had to shift in her separate cabin much to maan's annoyance… he used to thought geet's presence in his cabin used to make him lose his concentration but her presence in nearby cabin and not with him frustrates him more… he even tried to make plans to shift geet back into his cabin which will mostly be flopped by his wifey who would enjoy his restlessness…

mostly it is geet now who would handle all the project with maan and is thus an apple of the eye for whole office because of her chirpiness… she would make them laugh at the time of stress and would sometime save them from their boss's anger too… Sasha's hatred for her multiplied seeing her effect on the whole office… she still can't remember where she saw her…

But the whole office was amazed with the friendship of the trio i.e. geet' adi 'and pinky... they would spend all the free time together or would crack jokes whole day in the free time… maan was getting less time with geet in office due to his hectic work and outdoor meetings and thus he would keep geet in his cabin whenever he would be in office with one reason or the other…

khurana's got a new project which was worth 500 crores and it could make them the top company of the country… but still they had to give a presentation which would decide their fate on the project or they would lose it to their competitors… maan trusted geet with the responsibility of the project as he was to go to attend few meetings in pune… geet was sad with his leaving and maan was confused with what to do because it's the first time she was not cribbing on his leaving or throwing things but was just sad which surely was not a good sign for him…

Geet was packing his clothes and necessities while he was following her to make her understand…

Jaan try to understand I had to attend those meetings… the investors are making fuss on some issue and if I don't go they will back out and we would have to stop the project…

Maan when did I ask you to not go… I am perfectly fine with it…

She was about to leave the room when he held her hand taking her in his embrace…

Jaan you don't want me to go…

No maan I know the meeting is important…

But the sad face of yours is saying something else hmm… he cupped her face…

no maan I am just sad with your leaving but I do know it is important for you and waise bhi you had such a big business to run I can't bind you with me whole time… and I know you had to face so much problems while handling the issues from here itself since last few months when I didn't liked your going out…

Geet nothing is important than your happiness to me…

For me to maan and I am sorry for past times apko pata h it took me a whole month to study KC's history and understand the amount off work you handle singlehandedly from here… I know because of me your burden just increased a lot but from now I will take care of your burdens and will divide it between us… aap jao and mai yha ka project dekhti hu…

Nah not a physical child but surely a person who is child mentally… he teased

Haw she made an O face you called me a child I won't leave you… she was about to hit him when he held her hand…

na baby you know you had become so understanding these days that I feel so proud of you… and with the way you are handling your college and office I can surely say one day you will become a businessperson better than me and I would love to see you achieve those milestones that one can only dream off…

Geet felt emotional with his words…she caressed his cheeks...

Maan it's you who would be behind my success… aap Na hi sirf khud upper uthe but mujhe bi uthaya... and I will wait for the day when I will be identified in this world by your name…

She hugged him tightly while he just enjoyed her presence with him…

maan left to pune the next day while she took charge of office in his absence…sasha just burned seeing maan giving geet authority to take decision on his absence which was usually done by either her or adi… but this time it's either geet or adi and she was hell angry on it… that girl is trying to take my position in MK's life but I won't let her rule the office and maan… he is mine and I would not let anyone to have the power that would belong to mrs.MK..He is the most handsome bachelor of town and I will make him fall for my body... just geet wait and watch how I will make you fall in front of his eyes…

Well that's the difference between love and lust… at one side its geet's love and other side Sasha's lust... geet loves maan to the extent that she can give her life for him while Sasha can take anyone's life… geet's existence depends on maan while Sasha's expenses depends on maan… geet works hard to improve maan's goodwill and see appreciation in his eyes while Sasha just works to have maan's wealth… geet needs maan and Sasha needs maan Singh khurana… why can't people understand that lust can give life but love makes it worth living… it's not the name of the person which one had to see but his inner self and that's what made geet fell for him irrecoverably…

geet was handling office in maan's absence smoothly… she and her team was working hard to complete the project before maan's arrival as the presentation would be the very next day of his arrival… it was really impossible to do it that fast… but geet had determined to complete it any cost… Sasha kept bugging her with files and data just wasting a lot of her time… they would have a cat fight in which geet would win and Sasha would have to face humiliation…

geet would work whole day and night to complete the file on time… it was the day of maan's arrival and she was doing last minute work but some facts were making her confuse… she rechecked the figures again and was having doubt of them being tampered… she even rechecked whole file again and was sure it was not the one in which she worked… she tried to search her whole cabin but it was not there…

she informed adi and asked him to not make other's know about it otherwise the person would get alert… they searched whole of the office but it was nowhere present… geet was getting frustrated as the time was passing and there was not a single clue where the file could have gone… the geet remembered they had not searched Sasha's cabin and they rushed to her cabin but was shocked to find it locked…

They tried to open it with the spare keys but Sasha came on time and saw them… what's going on here she asked with gritted teeth… Sasha open your cabin we need to take a file… said geet… but that does not mean you would trespass my cabin… cut the crap Sasha its urgent and we need the file soon so just open the damn door… yelled geet on Sasha… oh miss hnda lower your voice or you would have to face the consequences… Sasha just stop irritating us and open the door warna… warna what geet said Sasha with gritted teeth… warna I will inform sir about how you tried to delay our work and you know MSK doesn't like such inefficiency…

Sasha glared at her but she glared back at double intensity making Sasha stumble and she opened the door… they searched the whole cabin but it was not their… geet ran a frustrated hand in her hair when the peon entered to clean the dustbin of Sasha's cabin…he turned all the used papers into a big bucket and moved out…

Sasha smirked as she felt her plan was successful…

Flashback…

geet was working on the file but at the same time peon called her saying adi needs her… she left the cabin open by mistake and Sasha saw that… she smirked as she got the opportunity and entered her cabin and took the file and came out… she took it into her cabin and took all the pages and crushed them and threw them in the dustbin… they she took few papers which she prepared with the wrong figures and arranged them into the file and kept it back into geet's cabin…

Flashback end...

geet to left the cabin feeling failed when they heard the siren of maan's arrival… she didn't knew how will she face him… he had given her a responsibility and she can't even fulfill it… she saw maan entering into his cabin hiding behind a pillar but soon heard him calling her…

she was scared and didn't had the guts to go just sent adi to him… maan was angry with her absence as he had missed her a lot and now her not coming enraged him and above of that he had to see the file which she prepared… he shouted on adi to sent her but he made a false reason saying she is just arranging the papers and would come in half an hour… maan's patience was oozing out with the passing time and anger was taking a toll on him…

Geet looked at his enraged self and was getting scared with his reaction while Sasha was happy knowing geet would be out of the company now…
