I really dont think a person can be judged by whatever type of clothes he/she wears...one can wear a trad clothing in a vulgar manner or a western clothing in decent manner...

One should wear whatever clothes he/she is comfortable in..what needs to be changed is the mindset that ppl develop seeing clothes of a person...judging them..

N yeah its not like decent girls in salwar suits wearing braided hair and no make-up dont get raped...so no ques of mod/ norm ..its just if u dress modern in a city full of girls dressed traditionaly then chances of u gathering more attention n thus chance of such incidentsincreases ..thats all

The problem isn't in the clothing. It's in the mentality. If you see a girl in salwar suit then you automatically think she's from a good house and respectable. But if that same girl was to wear a dress all of a sudden she's characterless. So the girl you were praising a few minutes ago, you're bad mouthing just because of what she wore?

oh well thats the indian mentality here...a girl wearing suits and sarees is to be thought as bhenji types and girl wearing shorts and all is sexy...well tbh i wear both but never can be called mordern...what these kinda filthy guys think was very bad...and i think while making friends we should be more vigilant because you never know what the opposite person is thinking...and about guys well yes we can be friends with them but also be vigilant around them ...thats the only way we can avoid such horrifying incidents because having new soch regarding girls in our society will take alot of time in our society...so till then how many more girls can be targetted as naaz...so its better if we start thinking baout precautions too...like being vigilant,more strict with them...and if needed learn karate and all to be safe

that does not asnwer my question completely...i asked that in the Mythos n in Historical shows..n in old movies..women are not fully clad.. they wear clothes as such that enhances their beauty.. so how is being fully clad considered ancient den?

Hmm...well it may be considered ancient because it's only now that the very scantily clad women are taking predominance.

my question is mostly related to what karan said.. if wearing Jeans n skirts is modern then wat was it in the ancient times? bringing back sexy is like bringing back ancient days.. Jeans is not modern...its western...some ppl wear according to their comfort while others to look modern..

ppl living abroad are comfortable in those clothes coz if they wear Indian there they tend to feel uncomfortable no?
