I didn't watch Kalyug until last week, and it brought up a very important and controversial topic. A honeymooning couple finds out that their wedding night/honeymoon night has been recorded by a hidden camera, to be put on the internet for entertainment purposes or to be sold as a adult movie, how the hell do these people get away with it?????

I find it incredibly disturbing, and a big violation of privacy, and the sad fact is, that in the world of hidden cameras and rising internet popularity, such things are happening everywhere, even India.

How do you feel about hidden cameras in hotel rooms? What could be done to stop them, and is it justified when it comes to celebrities being taped? How would you react if something like this was done to you?

Make sure you don't stay in a cheap motel as reputed hotels would dare not do stuff like this.....they have a reputation to uphold and lots at stake ( I am an ex- Hotelier!!) If it still happens sue the pants of this hotel till they shut down and go broke !!

That's true. But sometimes it is not the hotels itself that are doing this. There was a case a year ago where someone who left the hotel room left a hidden camera, and caught A LOT on tape. It wasn't the hotel staff. Sometimes the staying guests are just bad.🤢

I know it's really scary. When I went for my honeymoon recently, both of us were cautious about that...Even though we stayed in a reputed hotel in Rajasthan, we were still very careful. There have been too many incidents. I don't know why anyone would do this...There are many people who are willing to do it volunatrily...so go tape those people. Why bother or invade the privacy of innocent people? It's so sick 🤢

You're funny Aparna di!!! 😆 Sue the pants off the hotel!!!

Anyway, I agree with you guys. Can't people do want they want to do IN PEACE??? These ppl, like Aparna said, should be sued.

It's because of this hounding business, Princess Diana died. And they were trying to do the same thing to Nicole Kidman a while ago!! 😡 Celebrities are the main target I tell ya.

Hi MonicA#1Actress

Thats a very sensitizing topic. Only reword it as "Invasion of Morality".

The issue concerns ordinary citizens more in India. The rich and powerful are not victims of these things. Kalyug made a laudable attempt although toned it down a lot.

Coming back to the issue the abominating act is not limited to hotels of disrepute even the so called 'reputed' hotels in popular tourist destinations are partners in crime. Unscrupulous means are devised for recording unsuspicious customers on their honeymoon thereby robbing them of their dignity. The CD's made are brazenly sold on websites & in popular markets. For e.g. there is 'Palika Bazaar' an underground market in New Delhi notorious for selling 🤬 CD's, videos' etc which the seller claims is suited 'as per customer taste'. 🤢 They are crassly labeled as 'first-timers', 'young & fair', 'experienced' , 'region specific' etc. This has been widely reported in major newspapers and TV news channels but the guilty are free & still thriving, which is claimed to be due to the demand.

The upright & moral citizen might find it detesting but is doing little to voice opinion to stop the illicit activity. Law alone cannot fight this loathsome and ill-bred activity and needs to be bolstered by social ethics. Somewhere the morality & conscience of citizens needs to awaken & play its due role.

Meanwhile the only civil thing I can think of for the guilty people is to propel them into outer space.

have you seen the movie i think thisre aankh (third eye) with Sunny deol? The movie over all is retarded but the story is a good one, its about how these disgusting people trap innocent girls into posing naked for videos by secretly recording them and using that against them; and forcing them to do more videos. Even though the movie was really ridiculous (it basically involved Sunny Deol kicking cars 20 feet into the air and really badly cut fighting scenes where 12 people fire at him but he manages to miss every bullet and kills them with his bare hands 😆 😆 ) I think the movie's message was an important one.

I agree if your honeymooning then stay in a reputed hotel, but if your in a hotel with ur hubby just for a one night stay then fight the urge to "rock the casbah", these things i believe should be done at home, at least for security's sake.
