Hey I partially agree with you. It is so that Kunal gives up on things when they come on to him. If it was on Siddhi, nothing would stop him. It is not because Kunal as a character just likes to give up, no it's related to his emotional side he hardly exposes.

About 6 yeras back, it just wasn't because of Richa. He tried different things but Thakral ruined them all. What followed was rejection after that. Kunal lost status in society and career, but also his family. Raj had stopped talking to him. I understand disappointment, but everyone did blame Kunal directly wihtout understanding his situation. Only Anand & Seema still respected Kunal but for him being an ethical and right person. They also in a way had doubt on his abilities. So he went to Richa as support and she really rejected all of him. She rejected what defined him. SO that served as last nail. From here on, Kunal felt no one really accepts him the way he is. Everyone wants some change, be it his family or loved ones. And that is hwy he felt like he loser. people don't accept him the way he is so it means he's not good enough of individual, so why bother.

In rape case Kunal didn't give up right away. He was looking for a lawyer, helped Siddhi at every step. He gave up when it came down to Siddhi. He felt his case would harm Siddhi and that was it for him. He no longer cared what happens to him but couldn't bare even thought something may happen to Siddhi.

I agree with this case. In court room Kunal tried to counter arguments; but later it seemed he gave up all along. That was the issue I had. It was not like Kunal. Yes Kunal doesn't care much when it comes to him; but this is not Kunal I know.

So I would say Kunal stops fighting when it comes down to Siddhi's safety. In Nisha-Rohit case Kunal tried to find CD till last minute. He sent his assistant to look for it.

Siddhi too doesn't care much when it comes down to her. Yes but she too is willing to go any extent if it comes to Kunal.

About Kunal only listening to Siddhi; well ti makes sense. No one really accepted Kunal the way Siddhi did. Everyone else kind of tolerated some parts of Kunal's characteristics, while siddhi actually embraced it all. That is why Siddhi's words have more impact on Kunal.

So personally I wouldn't say Kunal just gives up easily; in this case they made it appear so which hurts me lot. Just my POV.

In rape case , agree with Jay ,Kunal helped Sidhi till the end and also agree that but for him, Sidhi would not have even got the chance to fight the case , let alone winning it..
during that time in some post chitra had mentioned..which I competetly agree with...
Kunal gave up 5 years ago , because he had nothing left, his love had betrayed him, left him and he was a loner, had no zest , neither a reason nor the will to fight, which was fair enough...but during the rape case Sidhi was with, by that time he was already in love with her and wanted to be with her , so instead of giving up he should have continued fighting.he had reason to carry the fight..Ok he was scared for her safety but she is more in danger if he is not around.. which is a big enough reason to fight and not give up,
even in this case, he tried his best , no doubt , and Thakaral used all his experience and money etc but now he had not one but two reason to fight , Sidhi and his unborn child..so instead of giving up, he should have been the one thinking on how to come out and plan his next move sitting in the jail..he still can fight the case, he is not barred so why give up ...I think this is something which he should learn... not to give up...fight until you succeed..

I wouldn't say he gave up on every crucial stage, but yes here I do not see Kunal at all. This is some other person. Monday was good as I saw some will to fight. But onyl CVs know where that may go😡
