Game of the Week: Antakshari
Hi! Welcome one and all! This is JDJ's first Game of the Week, and I am happy to present it to you. I thought that we might as well start of with a simple Antakshari since most of us are familiar with it. For those who aren't, the rules are simple. You start of by writing a few lines from a song, then the next person takes the last letter of your entry, and writes a few lines starting with that letter from a different song. Simple, right?
*quick note. The last letter can be the actual last letter or the last consonant because when you write in Hindi, you mostly only write the consonant sound with kana, matra, etc to create the vowel sound. Since it's not necessary that everyone here can write in hindi, we can also go by the English standard. So from now on, if your word is "hai" the last letter may be H or I. But if its something like "maan" then the last letter can only be N as there is no vowel at the end.
Ok...so, behthe behthe kya karein, karna hai kuch kaam.
Chalo khele antakshari leke prabhu ka naam.
So that means that I should start of with a song that starts with the letter M.
Mere haathon mein nau nau chudiya hai
zara thehero sajan majabooriyaan hai
Milan hoga abhi ek raat ki dooriyaan hai
