Kings or Presidents

Hi. I am bak wid a weird post..

Wud u rather have a Monarchy(Kings Queens) or Presidents?? Who do you think would rule better? 😃

Every human institution, after all, has its good and bad sides. As long as this world is inhabited by men and not angels, crimes and mistakes will continue to occur... Republicans are fond of claiming that a monarchical regime means the rule of the aristocrats. Monarchists, on the other hand, point to the economic difficulties, the tax burdens, etc. Both arguments are unconvincing.

Personally, I'm more content with a 'non-monarch' government (In your words, a government that includes a President\Prime Minister, and not a King) because this type of government is chosen "by" the people, "for" the people, and consists "of" the people.

The 'Old Regime' states that the king is made superior to all and is given superior rights by God..... ideas like this, I can't digest. In the other institution, the people choose their leader(s) and the leaders only give out laws which are sufficient for the people (most of the time)..... in Monarchism, there are many factors which people NOWADAYS will find ridiculous because they can be\are quite uneasy to follow......

The 'presidential' government does have its 'con' factors, but im quite content with it where the idea of Monarchism starts😛

president...even though the chances of either 1 being good/bad for the country are around the same..we can always get a new president and r not stuck with the same leader for a long time...but in a monarchy u have no choice...and like abhijit ji i wud crack up every time i called some1 ur highness 😆 😆

in UK we have monarchy and a prime minister who is almost like a president anyway and he does most of the ork. the queen and princes dnt do much 😆

Definitely Presidents b/c he/she is truly represented by the people of the nation since they elect him/her, whereas a king/queen is ruling only b/c of their status by birth.

Anyway, today the monarchy is just a remnant of the past. In England Tony Blair takes all the decisions, while the queen pretty much just sits around... 😆 I'm gland it's not the other way around.. 😆
