So is tomorrow the last episode? Agle hafte kya hoga? The mystery continues. 😆
Dev is draping himself over various bits of furniture in his room remembering Harivansh's refusal to accept his money because it is tainted. He feels frustrated and is about to take a drink when he remembers his deal with Arti. He is wondering what to do with himself when Arti herself comes running into the room and flings herself into his arms. He is shocked but faintly pleased too. He stands there like a buffoon while Arti comes to her senses but she isn't embarrassed either - she tells him that the calls are pouring in with offers of money and at this rate they will have enough for an operation by the end of the week. She says she needs to inform her parents about this too and runs off, leaving Dev staring after her like a lovestruck calf.
HAHHAHAH! By the time they have their SR, Dev will be wearing a ghunghat and sitting shyly on the bed while Arti pops champagne. He'll ask her what she's doing and she'll say "nothing". Three months later he'll be pregnant with their love's parinaam.
Rangoli is banging on the door of their bedroom where Brij is sitting by himself in his rocking chair, lost in memories of Pooja. He remembers how they fell in love, the shy intimacies, the SR - everything the CVs destroyed systematically for the past 2 months. 😆 His phone rings as Daddaji tries to call him but he doesn't even hear it. Outside, Rangoli is alternating between threats and pleading - she begs him not to do something that would destroy his life as well as hers.
Suddenly Daddaji calls her and asks her why Brij isn't picking up. She explains the whole thing and how Dev is responsible for all of it. She begs him to do something about it. He tells her something and she listens, her face clearing as he outlines his plan. She tells him admiringly that he is truly a great politician who thinks two steps ahead. She'll take care of his plan. She hangs up and looks with contempt at the door behind which Brij is still lost to the world. 🤢
At the Tiwari house, they're all watching the news and are shocked to hear that BBP has resigned. Arti says a man who would do anything for that position and power - why would he resign? Suddenly, they hear Brij say - because a criminal has no right to sit in that chair. They look in shock to the open doorway and find Brij standing there.
He comes inside and says they must all be wondering what new cruelty has this monster planned for them. But he has no evil in him today. He says he owes his transformation to Dev and his Baba who showed him the right path when he was lost in a daze of power and ambition. He folds his hands and begs Harivansh for his pardon. He says he know he has no right to ask anything of the kind because he doesn't deserve it but he must ask.
Even if it was Rangoli who committed the crime, he was the one who used his power and position to make sure she escaped justice. Pooja was his one love, his wife, but he cheated her for the sake of ambition. He says he owes Daddaji his life but that doesn't excuse his behavior toward Pooja. He was on a path that ripped his soul from him. The Tiwaris hear him out with tears in their eyes.
Since the Tiwari girls like their men shady, I guess it's a good thing their parents are so forgiving 😆
Dev and Arti take him to see Pooja and he silently begs them for some time alone with her and they leave. Brij sits down next to her and says she must be wondering what he wants now. She gave him everything after all - friendship, respect, love, companionship. He took it all. What is left? He says there is one thing he still needs from her - forgiveness.
He says she was the first person to trust him wholeheartedly and he repaid her by betraying her. Pooja is lying in her usual position with a slight frown on her forehead but as she listens to him, tears trickle down her cheek. He tells her much the same thing he told her family - that he betrayed her love for the sake of Daddaji's false honor.
He tells her that he was caught up in the whirlpool of his dreams - his sapno ka bhanwar. Wealth, fame, power, ambition - he wanted it all. And in the middle of this he forgot one simple thing - peace of mind. That was something he only ever got from her and he threw it away when running after his dreams.
So now from Pooja, this is the story of Brij's sapno ka bhanwar? Hey! It's all their sapno ke bhanwar - the Tiwaris' sapne for their daughter's success, Arti's sapna of justice for her sister, Dev's sapna for his brother's wellbeing, Rangoli's sapna that ... er, um, I don't know. To be the biggest baddest pyscho in Bhopal?
He tells her that he is going to confess his sins and to face justice. But he isn't abandoning her - she is his wife and he takes full responsibility for her. He will come back for her one day and beg her family to let him take her with him. Even if she never gets better, he will still love her and take care of her.
Awww! Now this is the Brij I remember. ❤️ But unfortunately, by this time the CVs have done such a good job murdering him to release the BBP within, all I can think of is Bhavna's call to him from the hospital, telling him Pooja's dead and his popping champagne for everybody on the news. 🤢😡 Call me a stick in the mud, but I ain't forgetting that easy even if the Tiwaris do. Maybe I'd have an easier time of it if Pooja were fully conscious and could tell him exactly what she thought of him and then she forgave him and they got together, but this is not really working for me. Even though RS did a fab job as usual.
Meanwhile, Rangoli has gathered the mustachioed shooter, Shukla and Govind Shankar and has updated them on Brij's new plan that will send all of them to prison. She asks them if they're willing to shift their loyalties to her so she can save them. GS immediately jumps on board and Shukla looks a little ashamed as he too agrees.
She calls a press conference and tells everyone that she just found out that Brij tried to kill Pooja because he was having an affair with her and was afraid it would ruin his political ambitions. The press is shocked and one reporter asks her when she found out. Rangoli acts like a sad, shocked wife and gestures to Shukla.
He says Brij confessed everything when he was drunk last night and Shukla immediately told Rangoli everything. GS says Rangoli then contacted him like the good citizen she is. He found the shooters and they confessed that BBP was behind it. Rangoli then reveals this is her political come out party and says she can't believe he persecuted a poor family like this for his own ends. She promises to forget that he is her husband when she sees him prosecuted for his sins. She will now devote her life to public service.

GS arrives at the Tiwaris' home and Arti as usual fights with him uselessly as he forces his way to Pooja's room where Brij is saying his goodbyes to Pooja. Dev asks him what he wants and he says he is there to arrest Brij because the court has issued an arrest warrant against him for conspiring to kill Pooja. Everybody is shocked.
Precap: Rangoli is drinking something in victory and Arti says she doesn't care if Rangoli is the CM or the PM, poison will still kill her. Rangoli throws the glass on the floor in horror. Dev is holding a giant bouquet and says yes there was poison in that glass. He'd already informed her that justice for Pooja would not be found inside a courtroom, but outside in the open. Rangoli breaks into tears and begs for her life. She says she didn't do anything, she merely gave the order to shoot Pooja. Dev and Arti look pleased with themselves and their kindergarten-wala plan 😆.
I will be so pissed if this show ends with Rangoli going to prison! 😡 I couldn't care less about that nonsense. I want to know what happens to Brija!
