"Meri aakhon ke saamne koi meri hi cheez utha le gaya aur mein dekhta reh gaya------"

Even though Mohan was speaking about his shoes , I felt that these new black, shiny, formal shoes (very alien to what Mohan is used to wearing) represented Mohan's brand new feelings for Megha , not as a carefree admirer but as a responsible prospective husband and father of her children. I thought the symbolism and the visual metaphor behind "Mr. Clean"s (as Mohan had jokingly named the new comer) statement that he had unknowingly stepped into Mohan's shoes, give us an indication of events to come ----the fact that Mr.Clean took the effort to find Mohan and return his shoes intact , is some consolation that even if he unknowingly proposes to or falls for Megha, he will honor Mohan's feelings for her once he is aware of them.

Mohan's conversation with Nanhi Chawanni as well as Guru's information led him to the conclusion (albeit the wrong one) that Papaji was trying to propose to him for Megha's hand in marriage. I still can't decide which I prefer more "Majnu Monu" who had railroaded his way into Megha's heart or the "Coy Monu" who is even feeling shy and embarrassed to pay her a direct compliment--------

On the other hand, we see Megha missing and pining for Mohan for 24X7 but still restraining herself from visiting him in hospital------and still unsure about her feelings for him , even in her prayers !---her confusion is exasperating and I want to shake her up and scream " for heaven's sake Gal open up your heart and truly look under the layers of your self constructed inhibitions and you will see the truth" ! We could sense her relief and inner joy at hearing Mohan's booming voice and seeing her beloved safe and sound in front of her eyes -----I was half expecting a De Re Na De Re Na to start playing in the bg to celebrate the meeting of MeMO after such a long separation, but no worries----I loved the BG song " Raabta" ( one of my fav songs )playing , and the accompanying scenes of the two lonely souls reminiscing and passing their days lost in each other's thoughts . As usual I loved the way Mohan was teasing Guru in front of Mr. C and Guru's expressions to each of his digs was ROTFL worthy. Induji's motherly reflex actions to any negative comments about her ladla Monu ( albeit in jest) were also endearing. Glad to see our Piddhi Addu back ( minus his hair it seems) to complete Nanhi's picture of an ideal happy family. All in all I loved the episode and thought it was well executed -----thanks to the NBT team for their efforts to bring some positivity back into the show ! Waiting eagerly for Mon(u)day's episode

Shoe Symbolism is said in this Forum by many . Yes Mohan loves Megha very much . But now he might show Megha how responsible person he is . He can handle any responsibilities in his way .

Geetian- you have a great way with words. You pointed out everything BEAUTIFULLY, without any shortcuts or acronyms. I LOVE how you said "I felt that these new black, shiny, formal shoes (very alien to what Mohan is used to wearing) represented Mohan's brand new feelings for Megha , not as a carefree admirer but as a responsible prospective husband and father of her children" because I was confused about Mohan's new shoes 😆
I hope that the writers follow through with the symbolism and clear up poor Megha's confused mind. I just hate how Mohan has gone through so much of her coldness and anger, and I want it to stop soon
