A worried Arti isn't touching her food. Billu asks her what's the matter and she says she's too worried about Pooja to eat. Billu says things are looking up since she came back but Arti isn't pacified.
Dev comes home to find Arti still sitting at the table and praying aloud to God to keep Pooja safe. He decides to cheer her up by sitting down and pretending that she was waiting for him to arrive. Arti is bitter and sends a great many taunts his way about BBP being his master. Dev refuses to bite and continues to eat the food and praise it. Arti is mad and gets up to leave when Dev drops a bomb on her - Pooja is alive and well.
Arti immediately wants to know everything and has a million questions for him but he refuses to answer until she brings another plate of food for herself. She can barely contain herself and she keeps asking him if he's seen Pooja for himself and how she's doing and what's going on and who did it, etc. Dev isn't inclined to answer all her questions and she gets angry at him.
She says she doesn't know why she should trust him when he says Pooja is fine. Dev says if she doesn't trust him, then why bother him with all these questions. She then gets personal and says she doesn't understand him and never did. She asks him if there's anybody in his life who knows why he does the things he does. Dev gets flashbacks of his brother and Kaka telling him to be the superhero his brother believed him to be and gets upset and leaves the table. Arti calls out an angry thanks after him for informing her about Pooja.
(Arti is such an annoying idiot. She's a great sister but she has no idea of personal space at all)
Meanwhile Giridhar brings Pooja's mustachioed shooter to Rangoli in some dark godown and grills him about kidnapping Pooja for BBP. He says he doesn't know anything about it and BBP comes there to interrupt. He sends the shooter away and reminds Rangoli and G about Dev's advice for them to stick together. Rangoli reminds him in turn of Dev's other advice - to return Pooja home.
BBP acts like he really didn't kidnap Pooja and keeps saying that Rangoli must have done it and she finally snaps at him that she wouldn't do such a stupid thing because it would only harm her right now. She's already done all she wanted to and now she's least bothered about that half-dead girl. She tells him if he truly doesn't know who has Pooja then she will find out for him. She advises him to not keep any secrets from her this time or else he will have to pay.
BBP watches her go and thinks to himself that this time maybe jail is her only cure. 😲 He goes to Pooja in her dirty little room and tells her that everyone keeps telling him to let her go but they don't understand what they mean to each other. They can't survive without each other. 😲 He remembers all the sweet Brija moments and says she gave him love and respect and he reciprocated in kind. But her one obstinate decision to become a mother ruined everything.
She kept pressing him to acknowledge her in public and she wouldn't listen when he told her to wait until he'd achieved his childhood ambition to become both party president and CM. If she'd just waited till now, they would have been together. But she made him choose between his ambition and her and when the haveli people came to know, they also made him choose. He chose his ambition and so as soon as they found an opportunity, the haveli people did this to her. BBP has tears in his eyes as he's talking to her.
Finally he calls in Shukla and the shooter and they bring a stretcher. BBP tenderly lifts Pooja and lays her down. He tells her not to worry and she's being moved to a more secure location. He tells Shukla to take care of his Pooja.
(I don't know why I'm so surprised. Logic went out the window a long time ago. As long as they don't show Brija as some kind of convenient outlet for lust and he truly did / does love her, I'll try to grin and bear it.)
Arti is now feeling bad for acting like a crazy person and she goes to Dev's room to apologize. Dev is remembering all the stuff about his brother and what Kaka said and what Arti said and he doesn't feel like talking to Arti. He angrily keeps quiet when she knocks and starts cleaning his gun with a handkerchief 🤣
Arti however is Chipkoo No. 1 and she refuses to leave until he opens the door and lets her apologize. She keeps banging the door and tells him to explain himself, and then she says he doesn't have to explain but he can tell her about Pooja. She threatens to stay there all night, irritating him by banging on the door. Dev looks more and more annoyed by the second.
Precap: Arti is in Dev's room and discovers his brother's photo. She smiles but it vanishes when she sees other photos spilling out of an envelop. It's BBP shifting Pooja from the night before. She grabs them and wonders why Dev never mentioned them. Dev comes out of the bathroom behind her and sees her with the photos and looks worried / angry.
So BBP is back to being grey is he? Yeh ho kya raha hai? Is it possible that we'll end up with Brija after all?😲
