India Calling Ashish Kapoor
Ashish Kapoor of Saat Phere will now be spotted in Star One's show India Calling. The actor will play Shekhar Vadhera, a London-return psychiatrist who comes down for his sister's wedding. The serial goes through new twists and turns and Shekhar is held back in his motherland. The actor says, "This role is distinct from what i am playing in Saat Phere, where Dheer's character is a complete sleaze ball. This character has positive vibes, good sense of humour and is very energetic too."🤢
Ashish has previously worked in Saarthi on Star Plus and Lavanya on Zee. He has also done short films like War and Peace and Open Doors. He is looking forward to his short film on street children, which also stars Vidya Balan.
