Shoba has done an angry bird on Prashant by breaking that matki and doing the last rites. Very very angry and did I hear the Azaan in this episode after the wind chime dropped. Now that is a message Arti should not forget as per the CV's, I think. Her past has left her in that car of her recollection of the black and white. What we recollect of our past is sometimes nostalgic. I guess the one illusive thing in Arti's life is complete love, complete trust and respect from a man whom she can love with her heart's content. I'm left wondering that because she was orphaned if she is looking for a father figure for approval? Is it that which she is looking for with Yash. His approval of her and complete acceptance of her as a woman worthy of love and respect, but what does it say about her self-respect if she can't share her deep fear of rejection that she is a divorcee.

Arti Yash Scinida seems to be looking for love and approval in her past and now even in the present. She may deny it point blank if she is asked this but it is my conviction and gut feeling that she does so.

She has the unconditional love of a mother now. Without no fault of her she had chosen the wrong man as her life partner in the past but what has she learned of that experience by bringing this past with her in to the new relationship she is forging ahead?

That is my take on the episode and how I felt about the whole messy situation. Guess Prashant will be back, his story has not ended yet.

Did I mention that she went home to get her baggage now she is coming back with this excess backage to Scindia pariwar. I feel that G3 and Bua willl not leave any stone unturned if they find out this truth she has hidden in one part of the gigantic wall that is her life.😲😕

Shobha doing the last rites also reminded me of this : Is she going to become some Mother India in the future if Prashant decides to come back and give trouble?

This episode left me with a bad feeling for what Arti has set up for herself. I feel that she is just going to chuck the past in one corner of the wall until the wall itself breaks with time and comes down and the past event gets revealed. I await that day and hope Yash does not leave her abandoned.

I'm scared to find out what is going to happen today 😭

Today's episode had made me think very deeply about what has happened regarding the "big lie" that Aarti was struggling wth all these days. She did not know whether to tell Yash or not that she was a divorcee and not a widow. The Creatives of the serial also put this out as a question to the audience. And from the precap today we hear from Aarti herself that the audience reaction gave her the courage and new direction for her life.

From this we have to assume that the audiences reaction was largely that Aarti should not tell Yash her background. And therefore between them all – Shobha, Aarti and Dubey and the Creatives – they have all done a virtual "antim sanskaar" of Prashanth so that Aarti can be "morally" considered a "widow" in a greater sense than before.

Not only has Shobha literally done the last rites of her son with that pot of water, but she has also told Aarti that the falling and breaking of that windchime is an omen from the Pir Baba that Prashanth is dead, for all intents and purposes!

I am at this stage worrying over three big questions in my mind. Here they are!

1. HAS PRASHANTH NOT ONLY BEEN FINISHED OFF FROM AARTI'S LIFE, BUT HAS HE BEEN FINISHED OFF FROM THE SERIAL ITSELF?

2. IF PRASHANTH IS TO CONTINUE IN THE SERIAL, WILL HE NOW MORPH INTO A WORSE MONSTER AS A RESULT OF ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED?

3. WOULD REVEALING THE "LIE" HAVE BEEN EASIER AS A SHORT TERM PROBLEM, RATHER THAN HANDLING PRASHANTH AS A LONGTERM PROBLEM?

Though the Creatives want us to audiences to feel that they have listened to popular opinion and taken this step of conducting Prashanth's last rites and declared him "dead", I am personally wondering if he has been finished off from the story itself (i.e. he will be gaayab hereafter) or whether he will continue to be in the storyline.

And if he is going to continue in the storyline, I am wondering if somehow all that happened yesterday and today to Prashanth will put Aarti's life with Yash even more in danger than before!

Can it be that telling Yash about the "talaaqshuda" lie would have been easier and better for Aarti? If the lie had come out maybe there would have been some turbulence in the Punar Vivah, but things could have been solved within their family unit by just the two people Aarti and Yash. The problem would have been short term and not long term.

Now I fear that the lives of Aarti and Yash will have to live long term with the presence of a third entity constantly baying for their blood: Prashanth!

Shobha and Aarti have, I feel, now succeeded in re-creating Prashanth into an even bigger and worse monster than ever before. Part of it was Prashanth's own overstepping of the lines of decency. Part of it was Shobha and Aarti's humiliation and "writing him off". And part of it was Dubey's few but forthright words that told Prashanth in no uncertain terms that even his father has now turned against him.

So far, this Prashanth was just a mean-minded man who had ill-treated Aarti and shamed his parents. But after so many words were exchanged yesterday and today, and after the humiliations of two tight slaps, and after the questioning of his moral quotient, his manhood and his very existence by both Aarti and Shobha, Prashanth has become an "destruction-minded active enemy".

This change that has now come over Prashanth is not a small change to be ignored. There is a very thin line between a man who is "merely mean-minded" and a man who is "actively destruction-minded", and today Prashanth has been allowed to cross that line. This is not at all good for the marriage of Yash and Aarti.

My feeling is that Aarti may have been saved from revealing that "big lie" to Yash, but she may have acquired something of even greater danger: an enemy for life!

If Prashanth had remained a bad but benign presence in the past life of Aarti, it would have been sufficient if Aarti had told Yash about her status as a divorcee and not a widow, and once that lie had been patched over, Aarti's life could have been peaceful.

But now, I fear Prashanth is going to be hell-bent on the destruction of everything Aarti holds as precious. And his thirst for revenge and his active hatred of Aarti may never be quenched. In fact he may become a constant and continuous presence in the lives of Aarti and Yash, and he is going to leave no stone unturned to spoil their lives. I can say, "ruining Aarti's life" will now become Prashanth's mission!

This is how Fate sometimes turns what is "ordinarily bad" into something that is "spectacularly and eternally sour".

I fear that as a result of Prashanth's own self-goals, and then Shobha and Aarti's humiliation of Prashanth, and the unfavourable comparison of Prashanth with Yash, they have created a monster that may keep on eating all their lives without respite!

I am leaving the emoticon up because really, nothing has changed. 😕

I want to start by saying that whatever I said about Shobha yesterday, I still stand by and am in fact more convinced of now. And today I am feeling a strange sort of sympathy for Dubey so bear with me while I explore this.

I think Dubey wants to see Aarti happy. His only fault is that he is not able to read people or situations very well or assess what would make her happy. He is easily fooled by her outward demeanour and so based on that likes to make decisions that seem like the right thing. At the time of the PV he told the lie, yes but he also stood by it like a rock. It can't be denied that without him Yash and Aarti would not be married so there would be no question of Aarti telling him the truth about her past, or thinking of starting their relationship anew. And when Prashant comes back, he thinks to himself, Aarti will be happy because she still loves him and as a bonus we get our son back. But when it didn't work out, he was equally behind the lie and getting this PV to happen because he thought it meant a better future for Aarti.

Everything changed when he saw how Aarti and Ansh were treated by the Scindias and concluded that they were better off with him in his house. He tells Aarti, as long as I am around, you don't have to bow before anyone. And I think he said that line about her destined to be lonely because of all the times he had seen her, she seemed happiest then. As long as she was alone, she would live with them and he could make her and Ansh happy. But now that they are at the Scindias he loses that power. All this time I had a feeling that Dubey didn't really consider Aarti a daughter but a DIL, but now I see that he is no less awkward than any other father, but no less committed to Aarti's happiness either. The moment she is in any pain, he wants to make it go away and take care of her. And we saw that today with Prashant. The moment Dubey was convinced that neither Aarti's nor Ansh's happiness lay in that direction, he had nothing more to do with Prashant. He is not a fool, just a dad, though one could argue that the two go hand in hand.

And let's not forget that he did AS for his son long before Shobha's ostentatious display today. He strode up and led Aarti's hand to the fire where she prayed for Prashant's soul to rest in peace.

It became clear to me, even more than yesterday, that Shobha thinks she is god, or at least his second in command! She tells Prashant that she gave birth to him and she can end his life too. But this is not how it works and I want to tell Shobha the old saying, "children come through you, not to you." The evidence clearly states that Shobha believes herself the "owner" of Prashant's life. But she does not decide when her son is dead. She can only terminate her relationship to him, which is what she did today and why I think all the memorabilia is what got wet in the AS. Sure they killed their relationship to Prashant but just because they don't acknowledge him, it doesn't mean he is not there, just like even if she doesn't acknowledge the law, it doesn't cease to apply to her. She has no right to convince Aarti based on her perception of the world and her mandates over it. She fails to hear the wind chimes and them falling, which are the real sounds and movements that Aarti is connecting to and hears only the call to prayer. For the first time, she fails to connect with Aarti.

I love the way Aarti twisted the dialogue questioning her character, to affirm to Prashant that he wasn't Ansh's father. Ansh was her son alone and now the son of the one who had spilt his blood to give him life. It is interesting though that the issue of physical needs comes up so often on this show as a reason for PV. It is so realistic though to portray that pure souls like Aarti and Yash are so rare, which is what makes their union so epic in nature. I love how they also validated the whole Mansi track here (I kind of miss her 😳) when Prashant asserts that Yash will use her for a while and then throw her away. But Aarti knows now that she and Yash are bound by a bond of parenthood, one that lasts a lifetime, though physical relationships may not. Prashant is so full of venom that it hurts to watch him. He so badly wants what he says to be true, that he is happy, that he is lucky to have found his modern life partner, that Aarti will never be happy and yet through it all you can see his own self-loathing.

It killed me all over to know that Aarti was in an abusive relationship. There is no excuse for that! Prashant has such a sense of entitlement over her and I am so glad today that she stopped his hand and refused to be hurt by him anymore. I am glad they showed her falling out of love with Prashant before she falls in love with Yash. I like that they didn't show her needing a man to face him, though knowledge of Yash and his character helped. And I think she was high on closure which is why Shobha's words seemed to hit home...but I still have hope...

Finally, I just love that Yash keeps trying, quietly and without a fuss. Aarti told him in so many words not to come and yet he calls her, no ego and no pride asking yet again if she wants to come. And so I think he will keep probing, unconsciously until she is ready to tell him the truth. I just hope he doesn't have to take another bullet for it! 😕

Damn when Shobha did the last rites of Prashant it send a chill down my spine & i found it to be very symbolic that while she was doing the puja the water fell on the napkins/photo album Aarti had kept...Now u can say Prashant is really dead in their eyes

Thank u Papa Dubey for finally speaking up & way to go Aarti my dear that jerk needed to hear that Ansh's name is "Ansh Yash Scindia" the icing on the cake was the slap & her blasting him 👏

Oh no Shobha i don't care what u say Aarti needs to tell Yash the truth before he finds out from a third party plus didn't Prashant swear revenge on u all...Now isn't the time to make your daughter doubt her instincts u should support her decision no matter what 😕

So not only was Prashant an A-Hole but he was a woman beater as well what a piece of BLEEP 😡

I'm sorry but if Aarti doesn't tell Yash the truth i'll be very disappointed cause she knows how much he hates being lied to and what does that say about their relationship it's gonna be base on a huge lie so how can she honestly think that she could start afresh with that big elephant in the room between them 😒

Absolutely loved the title, Jyo! 😆😆😆 Really want Prashant to go poof! with the swaha... 😉 never to return ever in AarYa's life, which we know is not possible. 😆
