Sharad Kelkar dumps Sinndoor

Sharad Kelkar is deserting Sinndoor — Tere Naam Ka, for Saat Phere.Confirming the news, the actor says, "I haven't left Sinndoor as yet. But yes, there are certain issues which need to be sorted out and I might leave it for good." A source who feels Sharad is being selfish reveals, "Sharad chose Saat Phere over Sinndoor which is not doing too well. He doesn't care about the fact that it was Sinndoor which had given him initial recognition."

However, Kinnari Mehta, producer of Sinndoor doesn't say she feels cheated. "I can't comment on that. But for me, his character in Sinndoor is dying and it's a must for my storyline as Niharika (Kirti Kelkar) would go against the whole house because of his death and a whole new track will start," she says. But Sharad accepts he chose Saat Phere because it's a better deal for him. "Obviously I would choose Saat Phere because it's a better show."
