To think Savita is still controlling her son who is supposed to be 50+ and how can Archana at this age take this this kind of treatment from her MIL. When she was very much younger 20 yrs ago, it was a different matter. The older you get you gain pride, wisdom and confidence in yourself. You don't expect to be pushed around by an uncouth woman especially after you know what she had done.(forging signatures and what not)

If Savita is still controlling her 50+ yrs old son Manav, So is JPBP Sulochana controlling her 50+ yrs old daughter..

Questioning how can Savita raise her hand @ her samdhan, but how quickly she forgets she has slapped her damaad Manav 3 times and Sachin who is Archana's nephew on IL side...Sulochana the hypocrite woman with double standards..Claims her sanskars all the time...GRRR

they are younger than her. not the same age.slapping ur samdhan is unheard of. and sulochana doesnt control her daughter she tells her to stand up for herself. there is a diff

Yeah yeah...That is your opinion..Slapping your Damaad is also unheard of...Just because he is younger does not mean one can slap him anytime your sanskar thinks one can do..And Sulochana defo controls Archana that is why Archana has not been able to keep her marriage...Woman needs to detach from the mother's umbilical cord..

nah man. I've heard of pple slapping their damaad. not common but not unheard of. but serious question. u always talk about the slapping in ur posts when it comes to the, well whatever, their last name is. but slapping is common in indian serials and indian culture so in sanskar terms it normal. maybe not right all the time but normal. y do u hold t against the deshmuks or w/e their name is so much. im not being sarcastic im genuinely curious bc i think savita family may not be outright abusive but i find their manipulation so much more destructive.

Sulo does control her daughter she was the one who kept stopping Archana from going to the Deshmukhs she is also responsible for Archana not being able to keep her marriage. In my opinion Savita was nowhere wrong to slap Sulo. Sulo had kept going on and insulting her that she was a horrible mother and MIL so of course Savita would be hurt to hear this and it's awfully rude of a DIL to just go and grab their MIL's arm tightly. Extremely upset that Manav actually approved of Archana grabbing his mom. Archana is a mom's girl. And Sulo is also very manipulative at times she does a very good job at controlling Archu. Savita is just trying to keep her son safe from those Ks who haven't left a chance to ruin him. After Archana grabbed Savita's arm Savita shouldn't be forced to let her stay in her home.

Slapping son in law is also totally uncalled for just like slapping samdan is. I never saw Archu stopping her mother from slapping Manav.

I hate Sulochna she is very dominating! Atleast Savita has been through a lot of difficult times so she acts stupid, and she does not pretend to be all Sanskari!
