Agree, whether they're educated or not, all ppl live by double standards.
SS ought to reflect back on how he treated amma - i remember when Ganga left, and amma moved back into their bedroom, and he beat her - he was the one who remarried, illegally, but she was beaten its time him and KN had a good look at themselves, it was funny too when KN exclaimed how dare Adarsh beat my sis and throw her out, and the look Kesar shot him.
Now Komal's received the same treatment, it hurts their thakur pride, cos they think only they have the right to beat women, and even used to encourage K, but he had none of it.
Its very convenient how men like Adarsh consider themselves to be above everyone, and have extra marital affairs, but when he suspects his wife, she gets a thrashing without being given the chance to defend herself. I can't wait to see how Komal makes him suffer for this treatment.

I couldn't wait to see how Komal would react after learning of Adarsh's extra-marital affair, unfortunately, she let him get off easy. He shouldn't have it so easy this time. He should be taught a good lesson, not by the Thakur trio, but by Komal herself.

I know, i hope for more than an insincere apology, swiftly followed by forgiveness like last time.
I hope this is handled thoughtfully and not rushed again, i'd like for her to make him suffer.

Komarsh are a parallel couple so doubt they'll drag their track longer than Kriya's misunderstanding. But Komal in her old ways should shoot straight. Wonder if Adarsh's jaanu will come back into the picture just as Adarsh try to make amends and win Komal forgiveness and confidence in their future.😲

Unfortunately, from what I've read in today's WU, things are going exactly as I didn't want them to.
I do hope it's all just an act by Komal to save Adarsh's life, and later on, she makes him repent.

@ red: This comes as a surprise to me. Post-property track I thought thakurs hv mended themselves...but the present turn of the events suggests they r into the habit of taking one step forward & one step backward...they r still much the same... as there is no sign of thakurs breaking out of molds. Their reaction to Komal's beating is very irrational by their own barbaric standards.
And I'm not impressed by Krishna's valour in taking to arms at the slightest provocation. In fact, I find it odd when people glorify K's beastly instincts😕...& I can see that CVs themselves r committing this mistake (they start playing Krishna krishna BG music everytime he holds that 'katta' in his hands). To me, the only strengths of K's personality are ------ he is good at heart & he is committed to his love for P. Other than this, he is just a bullbrain like KN.
Another thing which always puzzles me is the greater popularity of thakurs' criminal acts than the civilized ways of Saxes. I know thakur idiosyncracies hv more entertainment value & the roles r being performed by great actors...hence it is obvious to praise the actors involved but it's not just this...in this forum itself I find people giving silly justifications for K's dubious dabangai. I am not defending Adarsh's act here. He is a coward who beats his wife in the first place & then runs for covers. I wonder why CVs r hell bent on convincing us that every educated person is a coward. I'd love to see an educated non-thakur giving these arrogant thakurs a taste of their own medicine.

Sorry for the late reply ssrbaqri. Seems like Krishna is know about the feel the side-effects of his hot-headedness. True, that he is not the one to kill Adarsh, Tanmay is... But it was Krishna running around town like an angry bull who himself gave Tanmay the chance to pin this on Krishna.

From now on, once they get of this mess, Krishna should be shown that he regrets having this hot temper, and he should work to overcome this now.
(personally though, I feel Krishna can never do any worse than beat someone up, and that too only when provoked). I did not think he would actually hurt Adarsh much, apart from a slight shoving.

Great post and straight to the point!
Sajjan Singh is a hypocrite. He's feeling the pain of his daughter but turned a blind eye when his own son Shakti did the same to Kesar. So it's ok to treat your daughter in law like that but it's a different story when your own blood is involved.
What Adarsh did was wrong and he mistreated Komal. No woman should have to endure such things. But Sajjan Singh verbally and pysically abused Amma and Shakti did the same. So for them to be up in arms is truly hypocritical.
