Bachchan, visiting Britain to receive several awards, told a news conference at the Houses of Parliament in London he did not believe that an Indian film winning an Oscar was the "ultimate recognition for any great film" and added that it was offensive to suggest that.

Hats off to Amit ji. I am disgusted with this Oscar mania that seems to have gripped our media and certain section movie industry.

Ab ek Gora aadmi hamein batayega ki hamari films are good or not?🤢 And what is this obsession among some Bollywood Actors about working in Hollywood? It is pathetic to see them boasting about how they are in talks for a role in some Hollywood movie. It is hilarious infact. 😆😆

You are right...Hollywood Movies and Indian movies are as like chalk and cheese...I dont think Hollywood judges can even begin to comprehend our movies..And by that I mean Indian movies as a whole not just Hindi movies.
