Indira takes the burden of Kutumbh on her shoulder which Indur should have carried and when left Kutumbh should find a way to bring forward her household but indira did not let it happen so she's afraid of all these problems coming her way at a sudden if ever Indira leaves after marriage.

so logically she should not insult indira and make indira angry.

Simple explanation: Kutumbh misses a brain, like rest of the Besharmas. She is not able to think independently, nor is she able to distinct between what is right and wrong for her family. High expectations should not be set for this Besharm family.
