Totally disgusting and chauvinistic article... whoever wrote it has forgotten that times are changing and women are coming forward... why? I know so many women who are earning more than their husbands, who are single mothers ... its a fact that women are as responsible as men if not more!!!!

As far as SC description is concerned its true but he is definitely not a positive character and nor do I find him admirable. There is nothing positive about a person who thinks women are supposed to sit back meekly and follow their husbands!!!! this article truly offends my feminist sensibilities... i know many of you are going to hate me for what I wrote but I mean each and every thing I wrote and would not take it back no matter what!

Thanks for sharing Phal! SP is really a complex and grey shaded character and there are many, many layers to him which makes all the thoughts behind him fun to read!
