I agree with Shyamala's requiem and think that it was an earnest and strong request from her side on behalf of all ARVI fans.

The writers of PR should show Arjun telling Purvi why he has done what he has done. He needs to prove his love to Purvi, in some other way. He needs to take her aside and discuss this like a man with Purvi and Archana. He should not keep Purvi and her mother in the dark anymore even if he plans on extending this farce of an engagement. He should not be shown mumbling to himself. It shows lack of character. He should maintain physical distance from Ovi. Should not allow all this PDA, because he is supposedly in love with another girl. Manav never hugged Shravani, ever. Arjun is being shown as a cheap person leading Ovi on, by letting her hug him and stuff. This is called a clash of internal and external behaviour, and shows shallowness in one's personality. Arjun deserves some understanding too from the audience. But the writers of PR, by showing such weak characterisation of Arjun and such poor decision making by a businessman of his stature, you are puncturing all you PR team have built so far and have made mincemeat of one of our favorite characters in PR, Arjun.

Even though I am dead against Arjun's behaviour in yesterday's episode and I may have said that Purvi needs a new hero. But the fact remains Arjun and Purvi belong together, even after yesterday's fiasco. It is still not too late. Arjun's character can be revived, and Purvi and Arjun must be reunited. Ovi and Arjun simply don't share the strong chemistry Arjun-Purvi have, be it in terms of looks, personalities, work ethics and other things. Their lifestyles may be different, but they are the original ARVI. Everyone will remember Arjun-Purvi. They are the IT couple on Indian Television.

Even after such earnest requests from fans, if the character of Arjun does not get his act together and Purvi continues to hide the truth from her mother, I don't have anything more to say. The writers of PR and the director are to be blamed for this torture. Have a heart guys, this is not some serial where bloodshed of hearts is shown, this is Pavitra Rishta. Show some sensitivity to the audiences. This is ARVI for god sake. Please don't make a real Ishaqzaade out of them, like the movie. This is Arjun-Purvi ... not Parma and Zoya.

I don't even know if the CVs of PR read these posts, but if they do, and still not listen to the viewers and wish to make Parma and Zoya out of Arjun and Purvi ( the original sweethearts), then maybe a new hero for Purvi. But then it will never be the same again either for Arjun or for Purvi. All ARvi fans know that.

P.S: Arjun must not hug or dance with Ovi ever again, even if he extends this engagement, to help his friend it is okay, but he must not be shown being intimate with Ovi. It is going against his characterisation of loyalty to Purvi. Makes him look like a big time two-timer. He has to tell Purvi and Archana that he is eventually going to marry Purvi, and is just extending this engagement just to help his friend. Purvi might even support him on this.

Some how arjun was right...what hi did in yesterday's episode for Ovi was really good..he did it as a friend👏 in general a good friend think like that...as ovi said she is legal problems in that situation how arjun could tell the truth...the truth is not simple thing...its heartbreaking for Ovi also...but at the same time he should have to think about purvi...at least he should avoid paper dance...I think he gone mad bcz of this mess...

Well said Simhusa, why another man for purvi...this is love and life she can not jump from one person to another...it's not good...Arjun is one and only hero for Purvi and all arvi fans...but he should come with clean...I think CV's should reduce the romantic scenes of Arjun and Madam Ovi...day by day its looking very ugly...

this mess was unknowingly by Arjun but also by the situation .The effects are only on Purvi😳

for purvi ...some misunderstanding are needed for good understanding.
he had already done many big mistakes😆& pained purvi 😡

he was caring about ovi as a best-friend not for her love.

but what about his affection towards purvi ?😊
it was only shown in the lift & in the mms fisco

Real affection towards Purvi is much more many more than anything else 😎

it's just re-energize back A.Kirloskar...not to prove his love for Purvi but to prove himself & others that what can he do if it comes to his life (PURVI).
after that he can gain her trust again.

and... han,Arjun & Purvi are in true love😊

I totally agree with you here but then i urge you to not ask for a new hero for Purvi etc. because we all know that that is not what we want. I know we are all very upset with the way the cvs have unfolded this story but let's stay united in asking for Arvi to be brought together as a couple. 😊 Let's not give up so easily on this beautiful love story that has so much potential and also not let the cvs off the hook so easy.

i like the post... I'm very angry wid the CVs team of PR...Tey r just killing Arjun's character pissed...we want to see only ARVI not that fake gal ovi wid arjun...CVs of PR don't know how much we love ARVI...ARVI only made for eachother.

The more parties they have the more Arjun will have to worry about his image. If these people are office and business colleagues, and he flip flops from one daughter to the next then what does that do to his image? His dad's? Purvi's? And the list continues. How does he expect Purvi to hold her head up high in a room full of these people after they have all congratulated him multiple times on his engagement to Ovi?

For me, ARVI (Jan to beginning of May 2012) will always be where the magic happened and where it died.

As the audience, we know how much they love each other and how much they are hurting. It really saddens me the way they are forced into these humiliating situations that realistically people could not even cope with.

That said, like the hopeless romantic fool that I am, I believe in ARVI and have full faith that they will reunite. Will I feel the same way about them again? Probably not but it will be retribution for what was once lost.
