Season finale was good. But very predictable.

We already saw elena hugging stefan.

on the contrary ithought the episode was really unpredictable...far better season finale than season 3...never thought of the possibility that elena wud turn...amazing cliffhanger

I agree they really shouldn't have let out the spoiler about who she kisses... but then again, we are the people who CHOOSE to read them... so I guess we had it coming😆

And yes, (although I may get a lot of flak for this), I agree with you about Damon seeming slightly out of character for season 1 Damon... I mean I'm not saying he had to be all vicious and just lunge at her throat once he found out she wasn't katherine, but he still seemed too... I dont know how to explain it... nice? 😕

HOWEVER, I still wouldn't call the finale predictable...

1.We knew she'd kiss Stefan, but even then it was made pretty clear that that didn't mean her choice would be stefan... so there was still a lot of guessing going on in terms of who she'd choose...

Infact, I'll venture as far as to say that most viewers would have been surprised she chose Stefan instead of Damon...A lot of poeple (including me) were expecting her to go with Damon...so definitely not predictable there..😉

2. Although Meredith Fell came into the episode, I wouldn't call that a total tell on the fact that she would become a vampire... I think no matter how much people speculated, a vast portion, if not a majority, still believed they would NOT make her a vampire this season... and that it was too early on in the series...so again, whether or not speculated about, it still was quite a shocker... not really 'predictable'.😊

3.You're right, the Klaus-tyler switcheroo was unpredictable... plus nobody actually thought alaric would actually get to stake klaus' body for real... so again... quite unpredictable..😳

And finally, this season finale also had a lot of emotional moments as much as OMG moments... the Elijah-Rebekah crying scene... the damon-stefan phone call(when they thought they' d die), the damon-elena phone call, the flashbacks to the simpler life, the caroline-tyler goodbye(I mean technically tylers gone for now)..and a lot of other stuff...

so overall I'd say, good finale.. I enjoyed it...and I cant frikkin wait till the next season!!😆

I didn't think it was predictable at all. Klaus is alive, but his body is finished. Bonnie tapping into the Dark Arts shunning her ancestory/ bloodline behind (the spirits who wanted the end of the originals).. so Bonnie is all alone now in that aspect. Will she turn into a villain in future now? anything is possible in TVD.

I never expected Elena to turn into a vampire and that to because of all the USP hype of her being the doppleganger and yadi yada, but now she's just a regular vampire like Katherine... nothing special about her now except that she is loved by the 2 Salvatore bros.

Why was Stefan standing alone over Elena's body... where was Matt? He must've revived him.. what happened to him? Plus did Caroline leave Mystic Falls already after she believed Tyler to have died?

ya i think there are alot of reasons to look forward to season 4 and wait for lots of questions to be answered...can't wait to see what kind of vampire elena turns out to be and what aspects of her personality will be magnified...i m sure makers will try hard to make her as different as possible from katherine...there's lots of thinks going on...eachand every character will have new story and a completely new dimension ...i have feelong season 4 would rock...desperately waiting for it😊

I think her nature of loving and care for her friends and family would be further magnified... when human Elena would tell Stefan to save Matt while herself was drowning ... imagine the extent of her love and care when these feelings magnify.
