WORD about Terence's performance...disappointing honestly...wish he had avoided all the lame gimmicks...

Dude that PC performance of Raghav's was just MINDBLOWING...had to upload it seperately:

I'm just AMAZED at his ability to interpret lyrics...look at how he does that "nasheeli bye" bit...LOL he just makes you laugh and go WOW at at the same time...PURE entertainment this guy is...and that bit he did with the wallet in the end...lol...oh and the entire way in which he enacted the "saath baaki hai" bit...seriously fantabulous stuff from Raghav here.

*Edit: Oh and word about watching LM mainly for Raghav and Prince...the kids in the auditions honestly didn't look VERY impressive also😕😆...seems like it might be a blahh season waise bhi...Kruti's performances were kinda on the ehhh side sorry to say...I thought she could dance better than this...didn't like her choreography for 'bhare naina' at the press conference either...Prince was FAB though...I think we're gonna see a lot of Prince-Raghav bantering on LM too😆

Oh and not to forget that random "maa" awards/appreciation or whatever that was. 😕🤣 Seriously, have these guys lost it? What was the point of calling all the mom's on stage and giving them a trophy? :S And playing that "maa" song in the background! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Full on comedy hi chal rahi thi iss finale episode mein! I was just cracking up as they were showing all the corresponding 'dad's' in the audience looking on and thinking ki bhai humein kyun nahin bulaya? 🤣

Anyways, thanks for posting that Terence message thread Himani! Aww I loved reading that! Seriously that GENUINE bonding TKT shares...that positivity and strength as they deal with criticism and politics...that's what makes them such a strong team EVERY season. Every season I find myself drawn to TKT contestants mostly. Even if the other two teams have great dancers as well. Terence just manages to extract out the EXACT and FULL potential of his contestants somehow. Geeta and Remo, even if they get the BEST of dancers, they fail to showcase that full potential. I just never WARM UP to Geeta and Remo's contestants, like I do with the TKT contestants.

And it shows as we read this message...how well Terence bonds with his students...how well he KNOWS and understands them. Their actual personalities, their quirks and their stories. That's what allows him to develop their own confidence and personalities on stage. So that they can showcase their own personality...bring about something of their own, on stage. I mean, Terence is so bang on with all the qualities of Raghav and Pradeep's that we've witnessed ourselves this season.

I loved reading Pradeep's story too. Truly, this guy is so hard working and passionate. 👏

And LMAO! I cracked up as I read that Raghav jumping around excitedly going "Sir khatarnaak hoga" 2500 times bit! 🤣 That totally sounds like him. Reminded me of his little pixie jump during that AAA act that you captured in an avi Anu. 😆 What a goof. lol Such a bacha he is at heart. Always entertaining people, always making them laugh. :) Man, he's going to have such an awesome bonding with his kids. 😆

And yeah, we've also witnessed Raghav's spontaneous creativity and his quick wit. He's just bursting with this creativity to showcase his dance style on ANY song. Be it a goofy/fun song or a poignant/emotional song. He genuinely LOVES his dance style and you can see that when he goes out to perform. And we've all witnessed his impromptu choreography! Which has always been super impressive and sometimes even better than his actual prepared performances. 😆

Aww...and Terence's last line about courage, faith and spirit. :) And that line where he says, "to that creator who never left me"...*sigh* such goosebumps inducing words. It's this positivity, this faith, this SPIRIT that Terence brings about and transpires to everyone around him...it's almost magical. So inspiring. :)

And you can see where Terence's spiritual ideas for certain performances this season stemmed from. He's a believer. :)

Anuuu! 🤗🤗😆

Oh YAY you uploaded it separately! :D OMG that "nasheeli bye"...LOL I KNOW! 😆 Raghav just brings out these amazing quirks in his dancing. You don't know whether to laugh or be touched or go 'wow'. WHAT an entertainer. Such a creative genius he is. And even that bit, "tham gaye ho kyun, baat baaki hai" as he just FREEZES on the "tham gaye" part and does the "baat baaki hai" talking motion in the background. It's something SO simple yaar...but it creates this entire MOMENT. Of this one second ka lyric. It's like Raghav brings out ALL of these hidden and subtle se moments in his music so wonderfully and expresses them out to the maximum. And even this one bit where the lyrics are something like "so gaye" or something...can't remember...but Raghav portrays this sleepy sa "neend mein" type expression. It's SO perfect! lol His expressions and the FEEL he has...that totally spontaneous feel that can only be brought out at that instant while you listen to your music...it can't be rehearsed. This is the creativity, the soul and the PERSONALITY he brings to his performance that keeps them from getting repetitive even though his style and even some of the dance movements are the same. The dance steps somehow look different with each different song. Due to the way Raghav performs it differently...with a different emotion each time. And yeah dude, his ability to interpret lyrics is just awesome! lol

And even that floor stuff he did SO smoothly! 👏

And edited to add as I remembered it: Even the end bit as the music gets SO intense and Raghav's performance also grows intensity wise! Brilliant stuff!!

I'm totally excited to see what he does with his kids now. 😆 OH and yeah I would love to see Prince and Raghav bantering. 😆 I think Prince will have a good bonding with the kids too. This is the stuff I'm looking forward to watching even though this season of LM doesn't seem that great talent wise like you said...and even the judges are super boring. They both put me to sleep. 🥱😆 Oh well, FF button isi ke liye toh hota hai. :P

And word on Kruti being able to perform much better than her "Bhare naina" performance. Even her performance during the finale.

And that two kids performance that was shown in this PC video...they were pretty small kids...I forget the song now..."mar jawaan" or something? Anyways...it was SO awkward looking. Why would you give kids a song like that first of all? 😕 Especially if they are that young. And the choreography wasn't suited for kids either. Weird.

Oh okay, thank God it wasn't just me who thought Terence was annoying for once. Avein gimmicks hi the. Shirt uttarna and idhar se udhar bhagna and all. Even his typical Terence steps didn't fit with that song somehow. 😕 Disappointing totally.

WORDDD...I LOVE that entire portion...another bit I love...the way he did the 'karaari chai' bit doing that chai peene wala motion so casually but so perfectly...like you said, these are simple things in a way but he makes them like FREEZE in that MOMENT so that you see every tiny movement so clearly and you're awed...he doesn't just do one slow motion walk and that's it...he knows how to break down a song and take each piece and MAGNIFY it in this way that you view it larger than life...cinematic he makes it...

Dude this was one of his best performances...probably better than a bunch of his actual ones onstage in DID3😆...I just loved his choreography in this one...a lot of interesting pieces...like the floor stuff was fab too as you said. ...SO true about the dance steps being basically similar yet looking different each time with the way he adapts them to the song he's performing on...he continues to variate and combine a bunch of his steps in interesting combinations.

OH "magnify"- that's totally the word for it!! That's exactly what Raghav does...magnifies each little piece of the music in a way that it connects with you...he enhances the music with his dancing too that way. He makes the music/lyrics look good. 😆 In a way he gives that full respect to his music pieces through his interpretations and expressions.

And "casual"...that's another word I like too. He really does it so casually as if it's no big deal...so it ends up looking so natural and it FLOWS to the music so well.

And I edited my above post with this one bit...but I liked how his intensity grew as a performer as the music got more intense later on too. Like that "cockroach" type INTENSE emotion he can portray too. It's like he can be this innocent goof one second with the "nasheeli bye" kind of stuff...then he can be this totally tormented soul the next second...then he can be this revengeful creepy "cockroach" type personality the next second...and then again this innocent, and awkward, clueless banda who has no idea why someone has left him as the song says, "gaye kyun". His feel, his expressions are always so bang on with the music.

This performance and even his "chalat musaphir" one are my favourites so far I think. Even that 'chalat musaphir' one I thought he was so brilliant with incorporating that bollywood steps/vibe in with his own style too. He just gets into that character/that personality and the feel of the music SO darn well.

And as we've seen this season, it's not like he CAN'T do other styles. He has the music feel, the potential/the personality to do other styles too. Obviously he needs more training and practice to achieve perfection in other styles...but it's just that his own style of expression comes SO naturally to him. It's something he can be so himself with. So creative and spontaneous with. Like can you imagine rehearsing for stuff like the "nasheeli bye" and all? 😆 You just have to kind of invent it and let it come out naturally yourself. It just comes.

And that was the reason I thought when Abhik was getting inspired by Raghav's style for his "naina thag lenge" performance...it didn't seem to flow. Because you just can't break that kind of style down. It's lyrical choreography but it's not just breaking down the lyrics. It's getting that overall character/mood of the song down too. And just Raghav's interpretation and creativity too...it's just something else. Something so simplistic, yet natural and eye pleasing at the same time.

Mohena..the most desired performer of the series award? 🤔 🤣🤣🤣 They gave Pradeep the most unconventional dancer of the series award. 🤔 Ermm..how was Pradeep an uncoventional dancer? I don't even understand..clearly they had lame-o categories for their awards. 🤣 I saw that maa award Pallo..it was total comedy for sure 🤣🤣🤣 Hai bhala in sab nonsense se toh the best solo/best duet make so much more sense. Or giving some time to the top 18 contestants.
Mhmm exactly, I know many find Raghav's childishnish annoying (I find it endearing)..but he is a very sharp guy who's very loving, caring, and genuine. He's one of those rare people who will be HAPPY for you and not jealous of you...no ill-feelings.. Hahaha @ the teddy bear bit..he's kinda like that haina? A skinny and lanky teddy bear ..but loving nonetheless..😆 I hope he stays like this even with all the fame too..I'm glad Terence recognized and understood this..
I caught Raghav's PC performance for LM :) My speakers are not working so I couldn't hear the song :( but Raghva's dancing itself is as always so intriguing..it just draws you in, even without the music. He's a perfromer..and its just so smooth..AHH. I'm going to find a computer where I can listen to the song as well while he dances..I feel like I'm missing SO much reading the discussions..
Aww I really loved everything Terence said about Raghav and Pradeep too. It is just SO Raghav and Pradeep..I can totally imagine Raghva jumping around on the stage and being excited about how awesome its going to be to dance in front of 25,000 people while Pradeep started crying at seeing how far he's come from his struggling days..his story is so touching. His hard work and determination has always stood out so much this entire season. <3 Aww I hope he goes far in life. And hahaha even I cracked up at the not letting them get affected with the politics of the show 😆
As for LM, I think..they picked more experienced skippers last season. This season Kruti and Neerav have the experience and versatility in terms of styles they know. Raghav and Prince bring uniqueness..and Raghav toh is just unbelievably creative on his own...and he genuinely really wants to teach slo-mo to anybody and everybody. The only thing about Raghav and Prince that worries me is whether they can choreograph and teach different styles...I'm hoping Raghav and Prince prove to be like Dharmesh--not versatile dancers, but versatile choreographers.
Is Kruti's bhaire naina the dance the 2 kids were doing? With the lifts and all?..oh god I really hope the skippers don't go overboard with the lifts business...or adding some weird sort of DIFFICULTY...the little girl looked really uncomfortable with the dance moves she had to do..I was scared for her..aisa lag raha this ki abhi giregi..That was NOT suitable for kids!

Seriously! Mohena-most desired?? Actually I remember Remo trying to count the no. of desired performances every time they were awarded. This season I hardly can remember any good perfomances coming from his team except for Kolaveri di. God only knows how Mithun da gave them desired performance week after week 😕 and how is Pradeep an unconventional dancer 😲 It was very much expected from Pradeep. He was extrememly good since auditions itself. This is for sure a lame season and a lame finale. Like many of you said, I fast forwarded most of it. I had no clue why they had Ali's comedy. Instead, they could have had some performances from the top 18 contestants. Like a face-off between each team?? They could have done much better things. I never like DID finale. It's always messy and boring. Dance wise, I expect nothing. Nothing to look forward for the quality dance. It's all about show-off and gimmicks 👎🏼

As for the results, untill the winner was announced I had some hope in the corner of my heart that may be Pradeep will win. I really wished for him to win, who deserved it more than anybody. I was quite surprised that they had Sanam in 4th position. That made me think may be the result is not going to be rigged but when they announced the winner...i was like 🤔 It was a given that Rajasmita was going to win no matter what. Like seriously, if we think about her last performance, it was such an average performance. Even in the finale, she lacked that attitude and that confidence a star should have. Zee people are like please take it Geeta ma...zabardasti winner bana diye 😆 bas ye aapki baari tou please le lo 🤣How dumb 👎🏼 Had Pradeep won, DID would have gained so much respect!!!! Having said that, I am happy for Geeta ma. She is been struggling for 4 seasons now. I guess its about time she won. But they could have made her win with Dharmesh, who had this crazy fan following. Everyone would have believed that. Oh well 😃 Life and world are never fair. One need to enjoy every single day here and keep moving on i guess. So, let us all move on to DID LIL masters now 😆

@pigbelly4myfeet and @Areyaar I love the way you guys have totally analysed Raghav's performance in that press conference and touched on all the little details! I had a huge smile when reading through it and totally agree with your points. Raghav is indeed a creative genius - I've probably watched that performance several times now daily as it's simply 'wow'.

Itsunfortunate raghav was third and even more unfortunate that pradeep could not win, but negati8ng rajasmitha's hard work is not done. She started of as a unpolished hip hop dancer and did almost every kind of style.
The show is rigged to make her win, then how come avik was eliminated? May be she had this quality in her. Can you stop bashing her for a moment and praise her hard work and determination.

Also can you please not bring shakti here and compare her with rajasmitha?
Both have their strength and weaknesses, lets leave it like that.

LOL um...nobody is "bashing" Rajasmitha here. Yes her victory was predicted and obviously rigged and all...but the fact remains that she was one of the average dancers of this season. Perhaps not as average as Mohina and Sanam...but still pretty average. I have nothing against her personally...she seems very sweet in person. But what is the point of "attempting" every dance style? She didn't even manage to do ONE dance style perfectly now! 😕 Not even her own forte which is hip hop. The only thing she did perfectly well, was acrobatics.

I honestly think Raghav's attempts at trying new dance styles were much better than Rajasmitha's for all he got criticized for his lack of versatility. He got the FLAVOUR, the spirit of the dance style down always, even if he didn't get the steps perfectly.

Anyways, what's the point? This was a pretty blah season for the most part...totally predictable...and with the execption of a few good dancers like Raghav, Pradeep, Varun, Sneha G and Abhik...or even Shafeer and that Sumit guy...everyone else was strictly average.

And nobody is comparing Shakti with Rajasmitha per se...but seriously man...kahaan Shakti and kahaan Rajasmitha. No comparison only. Shakti is a MUCH better dancer anyday. Even season 1's winner Salman is. THAT is the problem people have with DID's standards going down. Ah well...congrats to Rajasmitha for gaining that fame and recognition.

Himani...oh totally WORD on those kids looking uncomfortable. Waisse, like Anu said...last season there was some serious talent with the kids. Like Vaishnavi, Ruturaj, Avneet, Atul, Papiya, Hansika, Jeetumoni of course...even that kid Divyam, and that one girl in Amrita's team who was so fab with her kathak. Some seriously talented kids! You just can't forget them. I don't see that kind of a talent yet...but anwyays, let's see. I am honestly not even taking this LM show that seriously in terms of worrying about Raghav/Prince being able to teach other dance styles. I mostly just want to watch for fun...:P lol...for Raghav and Prince's bonding with their respective kids, maybe their bantering, their choreography mostly...and hopefully some talented kids. And maybe Manish's awesome hosting too. lol Nothing else is really exciting me about this show.
