Hello everyone...
Today was great episode..
1st of all the change in Aarti's wardrobe made me happy. Also those heavy ornaments were gone and came the soft necklace with light earrings... Thank God... feel better for Kritika that she does not have to bear the weight of those heavy earrings. Also loved the light color and light border saree for night and the change in the day wear too..
On with the episode...
Mr. and Mrs. Yash Schindia are in their room alone with awkward silence as none of them feel comfortable to talk. Yash on his study table working on his computer and Aarti in the process of rearranging already made up bed... Yash turns and looks at Aarti who was tiding up the bed. He thinks that Aartiji has taken good care of my daughters with love and I did not even say thank you.. And Aarti's thoughts were on the same line about Yash that he was concern about how Ansh felt and so went and got the gift for Ansh and did try to appease his little heart so that Ansh can be happy.. They both turn to each other almost the same time and freeze... the words in their hearts do not come on their tongues and they just stare at each other for sometime and retreat in their position. Yash starts working on the computer and Aarti keeps staring at his back.. She still wanted to thank him personally so she makes the first move and calls him. Yash turns to her but a knock on the door makes both of them look at the door. Aarti quickly goes to the door to open and walks in her son and runs to Yash before she stops him...
The little boy comes and puts his gun on the table and addresses his new dad.. He says sorry naye papa You got me such a beautiful gun and I did not even say Thank you for the gun.. so he says thank you naye papa... Yash face softens and he has tender expressions on his face. Ansh does not stop there but signals him to come closer. Yash comes closer and bends toward Ansh thinking he wanted to tell him something but little Ansh goes near him and gives him a thank you kiss on his cheek. Yash face breaks in to a tender smile and Mommy Aarti feels proud of her adorable son. Ansh was not finish yet. He says and I also wanted to say sorry as I was upset at you but I am not upset any more. He says you are very good papa... the best of all. Yash smiles widely and puts his hand and cups Ansh's face telling him that you are also very good the best of all... and than he ruffles his hair and smiles down at this little boy whose heart was yearning for papa's love. While Ansh was getting acquainted with his new papa.. Yash's daughters runs in the room calling him papa papa.. Both the girls also run to him and looks at them and smiles. But Ansh is the one who does not wait for opportunity he asks Yash if he could request him something... Yash looks at him as if saying yes.. Ansh says could I sleep with you? Yash was indecisive but Palak takes the decision from him and she also says I also want to sleep with you. Ansh looks at Palak as if he did not like the idea... So Yash had to surrender to the request of the kids and he nods with a smile. The children feel happy and they shout yay making Yash and Aarti both smile.
So Yash propels all the three kids on the bed. They climb the bed and Ansh rolls on the right side and lies down on the pillow. Palak looks at that and says he cannot sleep there as that is papa's place. As Papa cannot sleep on the other side she adds saying go and sleep on the other side. Ansh looks at Aarti and Aarti looks at Yash. Yash does say anything making it clear that the girls are right. Aarti signals Ansh to roll on the other side. So Ansh gets up to go on the left side and the girls move on the right..
So Yash and Aarti have three kids in between them. Yash & girls on the right side and Aarti & Ansh on the left side. Aarti was on her side stroking the heads of the children one by one.. Yash looks at that and closes his eyes to sleep.. After a while Aarti also closes her eyes and sleep... Very gradually tired Aarti starts snoring and wakes Yash.. He opens his eyes slowly and looks at Aarti who was snoring softly... He just could not take that. He tries to sleep but sleep just slips by him. He takes a square pillow and presses tight on his ear but to vain. He just cannot sleep with this noise pounding in his ears.
The electricity goes off and Aarti stirs... suddenly he does not hear anything... he opens his eyes to see if indeed there was no sound.. He sees Aarti stir in her sleep as it was pretty warm in the room and gets up and sits on the bed. She sees children kicking the comforter as they were feeling hot. She gets up and brings some file to fan the children. She comes back to bed and starts fanning the children so they can sleep comfortably and she also lies on the bed to sleep.
Yash was looking all that under his lashes... he sees her fanning the children and he also closes his eyes. Aarti feels drowsy and the file slips from her hand and lands on Yash's face waking him up. He wakes up and sees Aarti sleeping and he takes up the file and starts fanning the children.. Suddenly Aarti wakes up to see Yash fanning the children and she tries to take that from him but Yash signals her to sleep and keeps fanning. Aarti tries one more time but Yash makes his eyes wide and signals her to sleep and keeps fanning Aarti then goes to sleep.. after a while Yash drifts to sleep and Aarti slowly slips the file from his hand and keeps fanning the children..
So Aarti goes to Girls' room and makes them ready for school. Finally she gives them a peck on the cheek and tells them that now they are ready for the school.. She tells the girls their bags are already in the car so thet better go fast. Yash was observing all this from the doorway and was happy watching Aarti making his daughters comfortable with her. But his daughters were not that ready to accept Aarti. The girls see their daddy and they run to him reminding him about the meeting and they run outside as Pratik was waiting for them in the car. But Yash kneels on the floor waiting for them and they came back running to give him the kiss. Yash then tells them to go as Pratik was honking for them. Yash was also ready to go but Aarti stops him telling him about the what Gayatri told her about the school and that she wanted Aarti to go with him.. This was too sudden for Yash... He was being happy with what Aarti was trying to do with the girls.. but he was not ready mentally to give her the place as their mother... He looks at her startled and stares at her. His eyes telling her that he did not like the concept. He just walks out without a word. Aarti stands their thinking look do not get mad at the messenger that was not my idea...
Yash comes to the dining table and touches the feet of his dad and his elder brother and takes his seat. Pa schindhia a man of direct approach tells Yash that he and Pankaj will go to office and he can come after the meeting. He nods taking the glass of juice. His dad asks him if Arpita was going to school with him. Without a word Yash puts his glass back on the table with bit force. His father notices his behavior. He tells him that he knows that he does not like Aarti being called Arpita. And tells him directly that he better get used to of that as it will be so and he also tells him that he is hoping that Yash will give Aarti a place of Arpita in his heart asap... Yash gets very upset at that demand and he respectfully gets up from his seat and throwing the words in the air that he will meet them in the office he pushes the chair back and walks out. His father looks at all this and was thoughtful.
Then comes Aarti and Ansh session with the new sandals Ansh wanted Aarti to wear to the meeting. They were modern with high platform type of slop heels and Aarti was not at all comfortable with those. But Ansh took a promise from Aarti that she will wear it and so she gave the promise that she would do so.
So after he is gone Aarti true to her promise tries to walk in those but was wobbling on her feet. Yash sees that and shakes his head. Aarti's focus was only on one thing that she has promised Ansh and she will have to keep that. So how impractical it was to walk in those she wears it and tries to walk. Couple of times she loses her balance and had to put her hand on Yash for a support. Yash looks at that and just gets bit irritated as what the heck she is doing.
So Yash walks out ahead of Aarti and she is walking trying to keep the balance on those sandals. She meets MIL on the hall. Gayatri sees her walk and tells her that she is going for the meeting and not the fashion parade so she better go and change those sandals. Gayatri gets upset watching her still standing there so she asks her what she was waiting for. Is she trying to get taller then Yash and prove herself above him?? Aarti stands there not moving to change and Aarti then tells her to forgive her but she will have to keep the sandals on as she has promised Ansh and she needs to keep that promise. Gayatri had the thunderous expressions on her face. She tells her that she is wrong in letting her son rule her thus. As this is the time to teach them and not dance according to their tune but Aarti is adamant and doesn't go for a change. She joins her palms in forgiveness and tells her that she respects her a lot and does not want to hurt her but she possibly cannot break her promise to her son. She tells her again to change but then Yash comes in to remind her that they are getting late and Gayatri tells her to go... Paridhi comes and makes a remark that those sandals are lovely and must be a gift from Yash bhaiya. Gayatri turns to look at Paridhi. Yash does not like that either but he reminds her that they need to move and they go..
Gayatri asks Paridhi what she was doing here and she tells Pratik has sent her down.. Gayatri was upset at her for taking her husband's name but Vidhi comes and explains how to address the husband without taking the name. but Paridhi did not think it was right to address a known person like a stanger. Gayatri exasperatedly puts her hand on her head and Vidhi watching it all takes Paridhi away knowing the MIL may explode. Looking at that Gayatri thinks Vidhi can handle Paridhi but I need to keep a watch over Arpita's behavior myself so that she may learn the customs of this household asap..
Ansh's wish that her mother wear those pretty sandals was ok. Also I would not mind Aarti's wish to comply by her son's wishes. As that is the bond they share and that is the trust level she needs to keep with her fatherless son so that he has always that assurance that no matter what his mother would do anything for him.
Now coming to the impracticality of the situation...
Aarti obviously was making the spectacle of herself in front of all. Everyone thought she was being vain in wanting to wear those sandals. Aarti did not mind their sarcastic glances as her focus was to keep her promise to her son.
But was it practical to wear those sandals when she was not able to keep her balance at all. She almost fell in the bedroom and couple of times she had to hold on to Yash to keep from falling. She also was not able to walk in the normal pace and was getting late for the school.
Also if that is the way she would walk in the school she was also harming the image of those girls and Yash. Also she could have a bad fall and may sprain her ankle or have broken bones with little accident if twist the ankle badly while walking
Also Gayatri was right in her thinking about not being ruled by the whims of the kid but not right in her attitude in ordering Aarti to go for a change.
Another thing to note is Pa Schindia's putting pressure on Yash about the name change of Aarti and her place in his heart. Now that I think is too soon for Yash. He has not said a word about Aarti being called Arpita but he obviously does not like it and he does not call her so. His father wants him to come out of his brooding mood asap and be a jolly good Yash as he was with Arpita. Yes they have waited 3-4 years to get him married but now that he has he cannot expect Yash to throw everything behind his back and move on happily with new partner. The healing takes time and depends upon the sensitivity of a new partner. But his father only thinks with his head and the matters of heart are worthless to him. He does not understand the concept of it at all. I think too much pressure on Yash is not good as he will feel boxed in and will explode.
I can understand Yash reluctant to take Aarti as the mother of his daughters in public. He in fact appreciates what Aarti does for his daughters but his mind instantly opposes the thought of Aarti being their mother. Yes he has married Aarti and she has come as his wife but for him a mother to his daughters is only Arpita. His heart would not allow that thought to even cross his mind. He has outwardly given the place of a wife to Aarti so that she can take care of his daughters but in his heart he just wants to be faithful to the memory of his wife. He does not mind sharing a same room or sharing the responsibilities of children with her. He does not mind her attending to him at dinner table or his room but when it comes to take the place of Arpita he instantly gets upset and opposes that thought vehemently.
The scare of pain is too deep for him and it will take a time to heal as it needs to be healed inside out and not just outwardly. He has started his life outwardly per the need of the circumstances but inside his heart he has no desire to change as he thinks no one is able to replace the love, trust, understanding and companionship he had with Arpita. He does not think there would be anyone in the world with whom he will feel the way he felt with Arpita. He does not want to think that he would be able to get that from any one then Arpita. He does not want to let go of the perfect thing in his life.
The precap...
Aarti is being scolded for the negligence of Payal and Palak she listens to it without a word.
At home she suggests that it was not the mistake of Payal and Palak but the way they were brought up... and she seeks permission to take over their care completely... and the 1st person to oppose was Yash. He heatedly opposes the idea and wants to keep a hold on his daughter's care as they are his link to his beloved wife. He would never want to be apart from their care as he will feel betrayed to the promise given to Arpita for their care. He will feel that he has failed Arpita and he would not want that. This is a delicate situation and I think is too soon to take over.
Let's see what CVs want to bring in the open...
