I'm a fan of Hollywood movies as well, though of late I've noticed that a lot of the films seem to depend more and more on visual effects, which often results in the story being compromised. There are also way too many remakes and series reboots done by studios these days. That said, there are also a lot of quality movies coming out every year from there. Personally, I love watching Disney/Pixar and DreamWorks animated films in particular, followed by an occasional dose of Michael Bay-ish action films. 😆
Haven't watched many English shows, though Prison Break is high on my must-check-out list.
