Before I start, this post is not targeted at any individual member here. There have been some issues that have been brought up lately and this post has been made addressing the same.
Multiple ID's (MID): If you think a member is using a MID then contact the section Dev Team. There is no need to accuse someone based on assumption. What we think might not always be true and accusing someone based on an assumption is wrong. If you have any prove and evidence with regards to the same you can get in touch with the Dev Team. They will look into the matter and do the needful.
We kindly request members to refrain from creating MIDs purposely to cause chaos and fights between the members. If anyone is seen to engage in such activities, the original ID will get a warning level raise and MIDs will be banned, without further question.
Forum Issues: If you have any issue with regards to any post in section contact the section Dev Team. Do not bring other section issues out here and vice versa which leads to unnecessary fights disrupt the peace of the section.
Sharing Personal Information: This has been brought up time and time again. Do not share your personal information with others on the net. If you are sharing any information with an unknown person you are doing that at your own risk. The conversation that takes place in private messages, face book, messenger between two people is between them and not to be shared in the open forum.
Personal Attack/Abusive Posts: Making any personal attacks or derogatory names calling against members/actors is NOT acceptable. Please avoid making posts that are abusive, derogatory, sarcastic and insulting enough to affect the sentiment of another member. Members have difference of opinion no doubt but you can't expect all the fingers of one hand to be the same do you? India Forums is a platform to allow everyone to express their opinions freely within the COC and respectable limitations. Please know the difference between bashing and criticism. Things can be said in a more civilized manner rather than being brutal. Having said that, dislike, criticism, disagreement or contradiction is not considered bashing and everyone is welcome to express their opinions within the Bollywood forum rules and IF COC.
Report Button/Response Time: Abusive topics are not allowed nor do we appreciate members taking law in their hands and jump in the topics with their weapons using the same tone as the poster. That will make no difference between you and the poster. If anyone sees any comment/thread which is offending posted by someone, you will NOT take law into your own hands to teach a lesson. That aggravates matters more and you also become liable for action for reacting thus. Instead you will simply make use of the "REPORT" button and report the thread by stating the reason clearly.
Please keep in mind moderators are also members. We would also like time to make our own posts. We also have our own lives and cannot be here 24/7. Please allow a reasonable time frame of at least 24 hours before escalating the issue and PMing a moderator. We try to address reports as soon as we can. Please avoid PMing the Moderators unless the issue has been neglected for way too long or it is an extremely pressing matter. Instead of mass PMing it would appreciated if one person PM's the concern DT with regards to the issue.
We hope all members would adhere to the above guidelines and make sure to keep the atmosphere of the section friendly.
