Brijraj's bad karma had caught up with him along with his bad habits. Shortly before the crowning ceremony, he had suffered severe symptoms. He was rushed to the hospital and the best team of doctors examined him. The doctors emerged to look at the solemn royal family. When there should be happiness now there was gloom.

His left ascending artery was nearly occluded . They stated any more time wasted, he could have suffered more complications. Someone needed to take reins and oversee his care. He was at high risk for a heart attack if the plaque built up again.

Manyata sat down on a plastic chair away from everyone and started to cry. She cried it out for awhile. Udayveer saw her shoulders shake violently with her tears. He went over and held her. She embraced him. He stroked her head. She pulled back.

"Mujhe yuvraani nahin bana. Mujhe baas humare papa chaiye hain," she stammered.

He tried her tears.

"Princess abhi aap ko unki himmat bana hoga. He needs you now more than ever," he stated.

" For years I have been a way from all of you. Why does it hurt me so much?," she inquired.

"Manyata isle kyunki woh papa hain. Now relax and think how we can help him recover," Udayveer told her firmly.

She looked over at her other family members. Komal was beyond stunned. Dadisaab was concerned and disheartened. Jai Nandini was simply steaming mad. Vijay Bhai and Meneka looked gravely concerned. However she knew she had to take charge of her father's health.

Udayveer gave her an assuring look. She wiped her tears.

"Main aap ne papa ko kuch nahin hone dongi," she declared.

Brijraj was brought home after the procedure. He was startled that his diet was suddenly changed and someone had written out a schedule for him.

"Yeh saab kya hai?," he exclaimed.

Manyata walked into the room.

She had never before come to her father like this. He had always preferred Jai Nandini and she had always shared a better connection with Komal since her return to her family.

"Papa yeh aap ki bari beti ki choti se koshish hai. Now please relax and have your breakfast. You will go for your morning walk within an hour,"Manyata stated.

Brijraj looked after her retreating figure in shock. Since when did she care about what he did and in fact who gave her the right to change his schedule.

"Komal yeh saab kya hai?," he asked.

Komal looked at him firmly.

"You always missed the gem before you. Now that gem is proving her worth. She is only doing her duty towards you,"Komal declared.

Brijraj was annoyed. In frustration he tried to order his usual breakfast.

"Sorry Maharaj. Raj Mata's orders are that you must follow the rules set by the doctors and Rajkumari Manyata," the servant stated with a bow,

He groaned. He stomped over to meet his mother.

"Brijraj you should know better than be excerting yourself like this. Go have your breakfast. You also have to go for your morning walk," she stated.

"Aap bhi Ma Sahib?," he exclaimed.

She looked at her son sternly.

" These are my orders. Now you are excused. Manyata will escort you later," she stated.

Brijraj started to go back to his room. He suddenly felt weak. Manyata and Jai Nandini both were in the hall. Manyata rushed to his side and helped him sit down.

"Papa you really should be more careful," she insisted.

She had warm water and his breakfast brought to him and stood nearby and made sure he consumed it.

When Brijraj finished eating only Manyata remained there with him. For a moment it seemed like only she actually cared about his recovery.

The went on their walk. He was still grumpy towards her and the changes she had made him endure. However she was his child. How long could he avoid her love?

It was night time he had tried to settle down and get some sleep. She arrived there and helped him shift into a better position. He smiled slightly but changed his expression when she looked at him.

"Theek hai beta ab tum jao," he stated.

She wished him good night and left.

The day of the crowning ceremony arrived. Manyata was nervous. She had wanted to become Yuvraani but now even if she could have her father's love it would be enough for her. However she knew her sister was not the appropriate choice to rule Devghar nor did Udayveer wish to marry Jai Nandini.

Dadi Saab was about to announce the Yuvraani of Devghar when Brijraj pulled her and Giraj aside.

"Hum chahte ki yuvraani sirf iss ghar ki bari beti bane," he declared.

Giraj and DadiSaab exchanged surprised looks and then laughed.

" We are so glad you spoke up. We too want the same thing. Manyata is the rightful heir to the throne,"Dadisaab declared.

Most of the attending guests were pleasantly surprised when Manyata was suddenly crowned then asked to sit on the throne. Jai Nandini went to her father to complain but he stunned her instead.

" I agree with your Dadisaab. Manyata is the rightful yuvraani. She has proven herself beta. Now I hope someday you'll make me proud as your sister has," Brijraj declared.

Jai Nandini gaped after her father as he went to congratulate his older daughter and bless her. Vijay Bhai came over to Jai Nandini and nudged her.

"I tell you," he quipped.

Jai Nandini glared at him.

Later Udayveer and Manyata were sitting outside on the roof.

"So princess next is your engagement. Are you excited?," he inquired.

She frowned.

"Kiski saath hai meri saagai?," she inquired.

He smirked.

"Hai ek handsome rajkumar. Someone who would never let you fall," he quipped.

She smiled. She got up and stepped near the ledge.

He grabbed her by her wrist.

"Yeh tum kya kari thi!," he exclaimed.

"Ek exam tha," she quipped as she stepped down and nearly fell into his arms.

"Kya hum pass huye?," he inquired.

She blushed and they hugged.
