Rohit Roy returns with Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein

After playing an underworld gangster on the 70mm screen, the actor returns to the small screen in a similar role...

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about Varun Badola essaying a pivotal role in Star Plus' Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein under the Ravi Ojha Production's banner. But after Varun Badolawas roped in by Zee TV's new show, Phir Subah Hogi, produced by Panglosean Entertainment's Rajesh Chadha and Saurabh Srivastava, the channel has shifted its focus to another other actor of similar caliber.

The latest we hear is that Rohit Roy, last seen as a host on Desi Girl on Imagine, has been roped in to play Mahendra Pratap.

A source informs, "As Varun Badola backed out from the show,the production house has zeroed Rohit Roy to essay the negative lead in the show. Rohit Roy would essay an underworld don who would eventually get married to Aaliya (Deblina Chatterjee)."

We contacted Rohit Roy who says, "I don't know exactly about my character, but yes, I am essaying an important role in Sajda. I might shoot for the same within a few days."

With this, Rohit Roy joins hands with the Sajda cast!

Our source from Sajda Tere Pyar Mein says Nargis fiancea's death had made Aaliya even more reluctant to believe in patriotism and she had told Ranveer that she would not be a part of his mission. However when Daijan was missing during the blasts, Aaliya was distraught. She could not believe that she and her family could lose Daijan because of the acts by terrorists. Aaliya was further shaken up when she went to the blast site to look for Daijan and saw so many wounded victims. Since then Aaliya has not been able to get these pictures out of her head and she keeps thinking of Ranveer's words of how terror attacks can affect thousands of innocent people."

Aaliya says "I was terrified that something has happened to Daijan, I could not sit at home thinking about this, so I went to look for her at the blast site. I saw so much of pain and suffering over there. I cannot stop thinking about all this and it makes me recollect Ranveer's words."

Ranveer says "We do not have much time on our hands and I still hope that Aaliya will change her mind and help in this mission for the country. Her help is crucial to our mission. After seeing all the devastation first hand caused to so many people, I hope that she will realise the gravity of the situation and change her mind."

Ankita Bhargava to play a cop in Star Plus' Sajda Tere Pyar Mein!

Star Plus' show Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein has now started getting a pace with the ongoing track whereinAaliya (Deblina Chatterjee) has finally agreed to helpRanveer (Shaleen Bhanot) in his mission.

To fulfill this purpose the CVs have introduced Ankita Bhargava as a trainer of Aaliya and ex-love of Ranveer. The actress is also seen in Sony Entertainment's Dekha Ekk Khwaab as Unnati. Her entry in the show is expected to bring in a change in flavor. The show has been trying hard to garner some good points and the makers are trying out all ways of striking a chord with the viewers.

Ankita is quite thrilled about being a part of Sajda as the role presents her in an entirely new look. Talking of her character, she shared, "My character is similar to that of Kareena Kapoor in Agent Vinod. She is a cop and will join hands with Ranveer to track the underworld don and will also train Aaliya, simultaneously. Over all, it's a very crisp character."

A reliable source says that Ankita was not the only choice for this role. It was first offered to Narayani Shashtri, but she was already busy in Zee TV'supcoming show Phir Subah Hogi, which apparently made Ankita to grab this offer.

The track is really sounding interesting and we just hope that it will boost the TRP of the show!

Ankita Bhargava is the latest entry in Star Plus's 'Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein'

Ankita Bhargava, who is currently seen in Sony TV's Dekha Ek Khwaab as Unnati, will soon be a part of Star Plus's ' Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein'.

Ankita will essay the role of an undercover RAW agent. She will portray a character called 'Mallika', a very classy and a charming girl who knows how to waltz in and out of situations. It will be her responsibility to train Aaliya, the protagonist played by Debolina Chaterjiee.

When we contacted Ankita, she said "It's a pleasure to be a part of this show and I look forward to working with Ravi Ojha production. This also happens to be my second show withShaleen Bhanot and I'm very excited."

Shooting will start this week and we will see her as a part of ensemble by next week. TellyBuzz wishes Ankita all the best for her new character!

Will Nafisa find out Aaliya's truth?

Aaliya's family and friends believe that she is going to the UK for further studies. But Ranveer has given Aaliya a passport with the new name of Mehreen. Will Nafisa learn of Aaliya's new identity and mission?

Our source from Sajda Tere Pyar Mein says "Aaliya has agreed to help Ranveer in his mission but she has lied to her family that she will be going to the UK for further studies. At first her family and friends were shocked but later they accepted this. As Aaliya will be leaving, her friends Meghna, Rishi and Nargis decide to throw a party for her and celebrate together one last time. Daijan and Nafisa get extremely emotional as Aaliya will be away from them for so long for the first time. Nafisa who is used to doing everything for Aaliya helps her pack everything in order. But Nafisa suddenly finds the fake passport."

Aaliya says "I do not like lying to everyone, especially Daijan and Aapa, but I have no choice. I know that one day when Aapa learns the truth, she will be very proud of me. But I hope that there is no slip up before I leave, I hope that aapa does not learn the truth or she will never allow me take such a step."

Nargis says "Aaliya has only revealed the truth to me and I hope that she knows what she is doing. I will pray for her well being and that she accomplishes what she has set out to do and return safely."

Nafisa says "Ever since I learnt of Aaliya applying for this course in the UK and being accepted, I am reluctant to send her. She has never gone anywhere alone, how will she manage so far away from her family. I have always thought Aaliya is a carefree and irresponsible girl, but now I am shocked to see this side of her."

Rohit Roy says that Ronit treats him like son instead of sibling!

Sajda Tere Pyar Mein will see Rohit back in fiction

Rivalries and competitions among the actors in the world of television is a common trend, however, we still have brothers like Rohit and Ronit Roy, who stand as an exception to this case.

Despite being in the same field, the two never had any sort of difference nor did the gossip seekers were heard saying anything wrong about the two. Ronit is successfully playing his part as K D Pathak in Sony TV's Adaalat and has many shows from past to vouch for his excellence.

On the other end, Rohit has always becharmed all with his perfect looks and it's after a long time that he is making a comeback to the fiction genre with Star Plus' Sajda Tere Pyar Mein. Talking about brother Ronit, Rohit said, "He has always regarded me a son more than a sibling".

He further continued, "It will take me another four or five years before I can play characters (Mihir Virani, Rishabh Bajaj and KD Pathak) like he does. Although I have been around the TV scene for the past 15-16 years (debuted with Swabhimaan), I am lucky to get characters of 30 year boy next door. It is only now with above love story combined with patriotism that I have experimented with my look."

Speaking about the bond he shares with Ronit, Rohit added, "We both revel in each other's success. I cried when I saw Udaan. Our interpersonal equation is so strong that both of us will not think a second before sacrificing something for the other."

Child actor Bhatki Rathod returns to TV with Sajda

Remember Bhakti Rathod, guys? Well, if you are having a bit of difficulty to recall, then we are here to assist you. Bhakti started her career on TV with Shobha, Tulsi and Mihir's daughter, in Balaji classic Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She also went to play a child artist in Kis Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand. Now, after a long time, she is making a comeback on TV.

But she has made quite a leap. From being a child artist, she will now play the role of a mother of two in Ravi Ojha's Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein on Star Plus.

A little birdie quipped that Bhakti has been finalised to essay Rahib's (Rajeev Kumar) divorce sister with two kids, who will come down to stay with him. Initially, her character will be a positive one but will turn negative with the track's progress.

We got in touch with Bhakti Rathod who said, "Yes, it seems that I have been the favourite child artist of Star Plus but now I am returning with the channel in a different and mature role."

We wishes Bhakti all the luck for her second innings on tube!!!
