Title says it all 😃

Do you believe that honesty is the best policy? Or do you believe that one has to be otherwise to make things correct? Does being truthful and honest always correct things? All opinion are welcome!

it's the safest policy, but if you're going to get a big payoff on lying then go for it :P

Honesty is the best policy...

I look at it in a different way - be honest to yourself.

.. now what you talk to others is too situational. You cannot be completely honest to others, because there are certain things you shouldnt tell to others and some which arent socially acceptable 😛

Hell yeah! Speak your mind, tell the truth and you left being free of questions. Lying gets you nowhere, one lie leads to many - and by the end of it you are left confused as to what and why you lied in the first place 🤔 or you'll find yourself in a pitch hole digging your own grave. All in all honesty prevents misconceptions and saves your brain from going into overdrive ^-^

But then again, it can leave many with broken hearts - A person ask you for an opinion and you speak out something which they did not want to hear leaves the individual cursing you and moaning in a corner.

It depends on the way you say your honest opinion as well.

I have two friends who are deadly honest with everything. They speak what they feel is the truth.

One of them manages to consider feelings and doesn't make it sound condescending.

While the other just says what's on her mind, and is sometimes not sensitive to the others' feelings.

I usually prefer talking to the first person about a lot of my problems because she takes in what I am trying to say and then tells me where i am wrong without aiming to put me down.

So yeah, all in all, honesty is definitely the better way of life. But it also depends on the way you speak your honest thoughts.

I really believe in honesty. I believe if sm1 always in a right path,he wl must paid off sm day.

Be honest. Telling the truth is difficult the first time, but it comes with ease every time after that. Lying is easiest the first time but difficult every single time after that. Your honesty may hurt someone's feelings, but they'll eventually get over it. What they won't get over is the fact that you lied to them for whatever reason.

Honesty is the best policy...if you are honest ,no need to remember what you said b4...but being honest doesn't mean you tell ur Grandmother her breath stinks...

I would be lying if I said that you should always tell the Truth.

The Truth can hurt at times so go gentle. At times a polite answer is best.

Do not speak your mind and shoot the mouth 😆

especially when angry ...
