What are the chances of meeting one's ex out of the blue, especially on the eve of a wedding? What thoughts would have flashed through one's mind in this encounter?

Ahem was no different when he came face to face with his past. Key moments of times spent together flooded in: their confession of love to each other, her proposal to him, him telling her that his marriage was already set and him jilting her.

In this encounter his words were short but inside he mind was racing like a torrent river of hot blood.

Now he knew that the watch is likely to be for her fiance.

He kept his rage inside, not showing it to anyone, especially Gopi or his mum. Yet displayed it through his wild driving and keeping aloof.

The real Ahem appeared when he closed his room door and unlocked a drawer in the cupboard and took out his diary. He looked on at the contents of his precious, personal and private possessions of Anita, which included a birthday card, a written confession of love and a little card with a confession of love and words saying, I cannot live without you. These were all just plain words and material admiration, they hold no value at all for him, his mind reeled as he went through them.

His mind was at near bursting point when he saw a photo of them together in happy times. He simply could not stand the sight of it any longer and he ripped it with all his might. Him shredding the photo, squashing it and throwing it out off the room was symbolic as his heart felt it no longer belonged in there anymore.

Ahem is in a volatile mood now. He is about to fly off the handle. He is aware of his lack of control when his temper flares from past experiences.

Gopi will be going to give him his green tea, which is one of his best moments he has enjoyed as he gets to see his wife and her smile. How will he react to her this time - as a wife whom he loves, as a wife who has brought on his misery, or as something else?

Like the mehendi that would take a few days to fade away so too would this moment pass by for Ahem, hopefully leaving him in a better place.

Fantastic analysis Swasthi.

I have to tell you my initial questions were is he mad because she is back or is he mad because she is getting married? Then I thought wait, he is in love with Gopi that has not changed, but lets face it his reaction is normal and justified.

Who wouldn't react the way he did? He was, at one time, in love with her, at least whatever those emotions were, for him they were love at the time, it is just now he is starting to realize what real love is like.

In a way I am glad he was angry. When he was looking at the past memories he wasn't angry because he had been in love with her, but seeing those and her again brought back the memory of the painful events that took place before, during and after his marriage.

After it was all said and done she did hurt him by insulting his mom, then there was Umang, Anita's brother who had not only almost ruined his family's reputation but insulted his mom, and ruined his sister's life.

So I am not at all surprised at Ahem's reaction now that I have thought about the past from his perspective.

Going by Ahem's character he will not easily share his frustration or anger by talking about it but his knee jerk reaction will be to be angry on Gopi. I expect this of him but at the same time I also know that he has changed from the Ahem of the past, so once he calms down and the anger fades a little he will feel bad for taking his anger out on her and will apologize.

Also once he is completely calm and realizes that past no longer matters he will try to close the distance between him and Gopi. He will try to come closer to her. We have seen his enjoyment while spending time with her. Gopi meanwhile will try to pull away because it is very obvious she will come to know about Anita thru Rashi. This will leave him more restless and anxious to be close to her.

I am looking forward to coming days. So lets sit back and enjoy this ride.

i am almost certain that ahem will remove his anger on gopi...not bcoz he still loves anita but coz we tend to take the people closest to us for granted and remove our frustration on them...

but raashi will use this to her advantage..she is eerily good at manipulating people and she must be still seething with the desire for revenge for her failed kalakari on koki and hetal...

so i am sure we are going to see gopi in tears yet again

lovely post btw!👏...i was at first disheartened at ahem's reaction but him tearing his pic with anita is definitely a positive sign that he has moved on😊

im gna cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭 stupid rashi hate her and our gopi will be cryin poor thing right from the beginning of her marriage she has suffered and be crying her eyes out n yet again back to square one once again she will be crying bt im gna cry mre 😭😭 as cant see this happing i wnt be able to sleep this girl needs happiness comeone cvs litten up n mke gohem move ahead plzz bring happiness to their lives... we had ebough of this roona dona want to see gohem happy...

Ahem is shocked, out of control. This character never expresses any of his deep emotions.

So just my doubts-

Where is that ahem, who was. So angry with umang, when he came to know of it?

That was the time, he should have torn that photos and cards.

Who was that ahem who was living with gopi for the past 1.1/2 years?

Is gopi just a convenience for him?

He can use whenever he wants and toss her away when she serves her purpose. This gives totally a new meaning to the holi milan. Subconsciously he is that kind of person?

His care, missing is all a hypocrisy?

he is confused, immature personality.?

When he was exposed to gopi's goodness, he behaved as if he was also an worthy saathiya for Gopi?

But.. Now? Who is this careless individual?

Even if Anita hadn't come back, he still carried all these feelings for her?

Why would he let go, when Anita track is over?

This is making me miserable...

nice post swasthi..!👏 his reactions brings big ❓ mark about his love for gopi..!i am😕..!why he had tears for anita?what does it mean?why he was soo lost in his thoughts even he cant hear his mobile was ringing..!i hated his reactions 😡..!i felt sad for gopi..!poor gopi always😭😭😭😭
