Fantastic analysis Swasthi.

I have to tell you my initial questions were is he mad because she is back or is he mad because she is getting married? Then I thought wait, he is in love with Gopi that has not changed, but lets face it his reaction is normal and justified.

Who wouldn't react the way he did? He was, at one time, in love with her, at least whatever those emotions were, for him they were love at the time, it is just now he is starting to realize what real love is like.

In a way I am glad he was angry. When he was looking at the past memories he wasn't angry because he had been in love with her, but seeing those and her again brought back the memory of the painful events that took place before, during and after his marriage.

After it was all said and done she did hurt him by insulting his mom, then there was Umang, Anita's brother who had not only almost ruined his family's reputation but insulted his mom, and ruined his sister's life.

So I am not at all surprised at Ahem's reaction now that I have thought about the past from his perspective.

Going by Ahem's character he will not easily share his frustration or anger by talking about it but his knee jerk reaction will be to be angry on Gopi. I expect this of him but at the same time I also know that he has changed from the Ahem of the past, so once he calms down and the anger fades a little he will feel bad for taking his anger out on her and will apologize.

Also once he is completely calm and realizes that past no longer matters he will try to close the distance between him and Gopi. He will try to come closer to her. We have seen his enjoyment while spending time with her. Gopi meanwhile will try to pull away because it is very obvious she will come to know about Anita thru Rashi. This will leave him more restless and anxious to be close to her.

I am looking forward to coming days. So lets sit back and enjoy this ride.

The intriguing thing out of all this is that Ahem, having gradually fallen in love with his wife, he still harboured a sense of denial within himself. This denial was gradually stored away deep inside him as his marriage progressed, like these possessions he had kept locked up. Now, having come face to face with his past, he has become angry with himself. This anger could spill onto Gopi as you mentioned as a knee jerk reaction, if she happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when he is at his worst. He knows he has the choice and this will be interesting to see what path he takes.

Agree, let's sit back and enjoy this ride.

Where is that ahem, who was. So angry with umang, when he came to know of it?

That was the time, he should have torn that photos and cards.

Who was that ahem who was living with gopi for the past 1.1/2 years?

Is gopi just a convenience for him?

He can use whenever he wants and toss her away when she serves her purpose. This gives totally a new meaning to the holi milan. Subconsciously he is that kind of person?

His care, missing is all a hypocrisy?

he is confused, immature personality.?

When he was exposed to gopi's goodness, he behaved as if he was also an worthy saathiya for Gopi?

But.. Now? Who is this careless individual?

Even if Anita hadn't come back, he still carried all these feelings for her?

Why would he let go, when Anita track is over?

Gopi will be going to give him his green tea, which is one of his best moments he has enjoyed as he gets to see his wife and her smile. How will he react to her this time - as a wife whom he loves, as a wife who has brought on his misery, or as something else?

Like the mehendi that would take a few days to fade away so too would this moment pass by for Ahem, hopefully leaving him in a better place.

I hadn't seen the epi when all the updates and analysis were posted but from all that I read, I still believe Ahem does not love Anita. He loves Gopi, Gopi and oh yeah, did I mention Gopi! 😛 He may not have voiced his feelings but his actions do surely show it.

After finally watching the show, Ahem's outburst today is understandable. He past has 'come back to haunt him'! He did say to Gopi at the beginning of their marriage that he loves Anita and can never love her. Nevertheless, Anita soon became a vague memory of his past and he started to see Gopi's true worth and has slowly fallen in love with her. Ahem's confusion is due to the fact that he thought he loved Anita but the feelings he has for Gopi seem to be stronger than what he has ever felt before. Poor guy is just in denial! 😕

Seeing Anita has brought back all those past memories and emotions which has left him feeling numb. He was comfortable with his life and his wife but now his past has caught up with him, a can of worms has been opened and he doesn't know how to deal with it.

Yes Gopi is going to be hurt be it from Ahem's frustration and/or Rashi's meddling but no matter what, Kanaji is there to look after his Gopi 😊 (I'll let you decided which Kanaji I am referring to 😉).
