Gopi was left confused and she instantly kept her distance. At the same time she continued her loyal duties to care for him by making his tea.

Yes, there are lots of questions arising out of his reaction. The positive thing out of this is that he vehemently got rid of the photo and this is symbolic in moving on.

Nihira there has to be pain along the way for Ahem to face.

The last time we had seen him this way he was heart broken over his break up due to his marriage. Thereafter he merely packed his feelings and possessions deep inside him. Since then he has moved one with his life and has grown to love Gopi.

Now it has resurfaced. The choice lies with him and we know he will take the right decision.

In the meantime we may get to see Ahem like we have never seen before - lacking self control, despondent, perhaps not taking care of himself, etc.

My thoughts: EEMMji this is exactly what happens when you think only about yourself😛. For the 1st year or so you thought only about yourself how you have been wronged and forced in marriage against your desire and vented fire & fury on Gopi. You married Gopi coz of your mom and broke Anita's heart coz of your mom. But took out all your frustration and anger on Gopi your wife. Gopi endured everything with a smile and a tears. So now that you have fallen for her hook, line and sinker show her how much you love her and how wrong you were in directing all your angst against a innocent soul. Best time to ask for forgiveness and move ahead in LL. 😳
You are so right the mehendi was symbolic ...right now like the fresh wound it is be bright and deep but will fade away in a few days and clarity and good sense will prevail

Yes, his past is not only his loss of Anita but also his behaviour towards Gopi. He will be eating humble pie as he goes through this process of overcoming his past. It has the potential to shred him down bit by bit to nothingness before it gets better.

It was an interesting concept from the CVs to use the metaphor of the mehendi. They could show him looking at it as it deepens in colour before it fades away.

I hadn't seen the epi when all the updates and analysis were posted but from all that I read, I still believe Ahem does not love Anita. He loves Gopi, Gopi and oh yeah, did I mention Gopi! 😛 He may not have voiced his feelings but his actions do surely show it.

After finally watching the show, Ahem's outburst today is understandable. He past has 'come back to haunt him'! He did say to Gopi at the beginning of their marriage that he loves Anita and can never love her. Nevertheless, Anita soon became a vague memory of his past and he started to see Gopi's true worth and has slowly fallen in love with her. Ahem's confusion is due to the fact that he thought he loved Anita but the feelings he has for Gopi seem to be stronger than what he has ever felt before. Poor guy is just in denial! 😕

Seeing Anita has brought back all those past memories and emotions which has left him feeling numb. He was comfortable with his life and his wife but now his past has caught up with him, a can of worms has been opened and he doesn't know how to deal with it.

Yes Gopi is going to be hurt be it from Ahem's frustration and/or Rashi's meddling but no matter what, Kanaji is there to look after his Gopi 😊 (I'll let you decided which Kanaji I am referring to 😉).

Until now he was in denial about everything with his relationship be it Anita or Gopi. Now he is angry.

It will be interesting to see just what he does with this. Lots to look forward to in the coming episodes.
