She understood it was bad after meeting face to face with the doctor. Chedi yelled at her after the doctor left. Chedi made no effort to stop Nani before the doctor had to intervene in person (when it actually mattered), I don't why anyone is praising him for that.

I'm shocked to see so much praise for Chedi regarding his treatment towards his mother in law. It's one thing to disagree or to confront, but yelling at an elder is never right. Even when Dada ji said something, Chedi told him to keep quiet. Such a horrible person. Nani should have never gone with him.
