A few months ago, Esha got herself a tattoo. But not for her all the tribal art and funky designs.
Instead, she got herself an imprint of the Gayatri Mantra on her back.
Currently shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's Darling! (earlier titled Baby), Esha gives us the lowdown.
What's the tattoo about?
It's the entire Gayatri Mantra.
Mohit Ahlawat rarely flaunts the tattoo on his back — the Sanskrit shlokas of the Shiva Gayatri Mantra.
When did you first hear the Gayatri Mantra?
I first learnt it as a child. I've said it every day since.
Why choose that as a tattoo?
That's just me! I have always loved the Gayatri Mantra. It seemed appropriate.
Where and when did you get it done?
I got it done at Funky Monkey, Bandra in April, just before my Rockstars tour.
It took an hour to get done.
