last option for me..I am totally indifferent to Abhijeet-Taarika track, infact when I started watching CID, I actually found the scenes very amusing and Aditya Srivastav is a versatile actor so whatever he does, it does not blemish his or any character's image played by him...

this is a crime thriller not a saas bahu serial or any romantic show...it is disgusting...

u wont call hitler didi or other such shows a courtroom drama only because it had a court scene right? or diya aur baati on starplus a crime investigating show because it showed the female lead investigating the cause of fire with help of clues for an entire episode?
then how can CID become a soap show with a very few such scenes in it?

I would say your point has little strength in it... You see.. the examples you gave Hitler didi and diya aur baathi is a complete story... revolving around a set of characters as in..what they do in the morning.. what they do at office..what they do in kitchen... its the same set of people and we see their lifestyle... as in what they do day in and day out...

But CID is not based on a family or friends.,.. Its a crime show.. every episode is a new crime.. and they have 45mins of time to show how they investigated. In those 45 mins they have to build a plot... and then investigate ... in between such stuff if they start showing love scenes... It actually reduces the crime investigation part of the show.

It actually becomes irritating when they reduce the investigation time and sqeeze in such scenes.. you see this happens many a times.. most of the threads in a case don;t even connect..because they have no time left to show the connection.

i have seen criminal minds and castle on star world.they show nonstop investigation and only at the end of the case they show the officers' personal sequences.this Could be done in CID as well.

Unfortunately FW is doing everything for getting more TRPs rather making any meaningful things which used to do in the past !!! 😔
