Part 35:
After some time they all went in and talked the whole night. They were so restless to see each other. After 5 am they all fell asleep. Geet, Annie, Nupur, Meera and Nisha fell asleep in one room and Uday, Mayank, Yash and Arjun slept in another room.
Night passed by so quickly. Geet woke up with a sore throat. She couldn't sleep properly at night.She was so lost thinking about Maan and the letter she wrote to Maan. Why would he care about the letter? She was pretty sure that Maan doesn't have the same feelings growing rapidly towards her. Then why? Why did she write the letter to him? By now the letter has probably found his official home in the dustbin located in Maan's office. Geet now had tears in her eyes. Why does she had to fall for him? Why couldn't she control her feelings? WHY? Meera woke up at the sound of someone weeping. She saw Geet crying and immediately went up to her. She tried best to console her but the pain she gave it to herself could never wash away. The scars might not been seen but the pain was kept hidden in her heart. Maybe forever.
"Geet kya huwa? Why are you crying? Bol na?!"
Meera didn't wanted to wake Annie, Nupur, Nisha, and Rajji because it was only 7 am and they fell asleep around 5 am. Meera quietly took Geet's hand in hers and walked her out in the balcony. She made her sit on the swing couch.
"Geet bolo ab kya baat hai? Why are you crying meri jaan? Chup ker jao. Daikho jo bhi hai sab theek ho jaye ga."
Geet couldn't stop herself from crying. The more Meera consoled her the more she started crying. Meera got tired of consoling her.
"Daikho agar tum mujhay batao gi nahin to main shor macha doon gi aur sab yahan aa jain gain."
"Nahin nahin Meera. P-please aisa mat kerna." Geet tried to speak through her sore throat and pain.
"To phir jaldi batao mujhay." Meera took her hand in hers and squeezed it.
"Geet you can trust me." She added just to remind her. Geet in return gave her a squeeze back.
"Woh..."
"Woh?"
"Main jahan kaam kerti hoon na Khurana Constructions. Wahan pe, pata nahi Meera yeh sab kaisi ho gaya, but i am falling for my boss!"
Meera's jaws dropped, she smiled through her mouth open.
"Wah Geet. Boss se?"
"Yehi to baat hai Meera, Boss se??"
"Uff ho Geet, tumhara boss kounsa 40 ya 50 saal ka hai. Otherwise I would have to take you to a mental hospital. He is what only 26 years old and extremely cute for crying out loud. I am so happy for you.
"Per Annie kya sochay gi?"
"Annie sochay gi ke uski bhabhi kitni cute and lovely hai. Us ke bhai ke liye perfect hai. Bas! But is main ronay ki kya baat hai?"
"I don't know if he loves me or not. And one day main itni bari pagal hoon, balke pagal nahin gadhi hoon maine un se keh diya ke aap mere se door rahain kyun ke main aap ke baare main sochna nahin chaati. Oh God what will he think of him? To isliye socha ke Hoshiyarpur chali jaati hoon. Na unka saamna kerna parhay ga aur na mujhay zayada regret kerna parhay ga. Is liye main wahan se bhaag ke Hoshiyarpur aa gayi. Aur apni resignation bhi dai diya. Aur ab pata nahin kyun mujhay dard ho raha hai? Shayad is liye kyun ke probably he doesn't love me back. Main kya keroon?"
Meera smacked her head with her own hand.
"Main kya keroon is ladki ka? Mujhay to yakeen nahin ho raha yeh wohi Geet hai jo college main her kisi ko advise daiti thi. Saray martay thay tumse advice laine ke liye. Pata nahin kitni lambli lambi lines lagi huwi hoti thi hamare canteen ke table main. Aur ab jab tumhari bari aayi hai to madam ko apnay problem ka solution nahin pata. Khair I'll tell you. Go back to Delhi and tell him everything."
"Tell him what that I am head over heels in love with him? Na na main aisa bilkul nahin keroon gi."
"Bilkul pagal ladki hai yeh. Trust me go and tell him before it's too late. Waisay when are you leaving from Hoshiyarpur?"
"Baba kal keh rahay thay by next week we should be in Delhi, cause of my college."
"Ok. I think you can wait till then. Yah phir intezaar nahi ho raha apnay mehboob se milne ka.
Geet blushed. And Meera gave her a little push from her shoulders which made Geet blush more.
"Ab chalo so jatay hain. Neend nahin poori huwi hai meri aaur tumhari. Ab please rona nahin hai."
Geet smiled widely. She felt calmed after the conversation with Meera. Meera got up and was about to leave when Geet held on to her hand.
"Thank you Meera."
"Oye dosti main no sorry, no thank you."
They hugged each other and left to sleep once again. This time Geet slept without any worry. At 11 am Geet woke up due to their friends shaking her. 2 People held on to her legs and were shaking her from there. And 2 people were holding her arms and shaking her. They've been trying to wake her from the last half an hour but Geet wouldn't wake up. She was deeply sleeping due to dreaming about the moment which she will share her 'dil ki baat'
with Maan. Meera stood aside knowing the whole situation why Geet is not waking up. When Geet woke up Meera decided to tease her.
"Kya baat hai Geet? Itni deep neend? Wah! kis ke baare main dream ker rahi thi?"
Geet blushed but at the same time she wanted to kill Meera. Geet gave Meera a stern look which made Meera laugh.
But to rest they were so confused.
"Chalo chaltay hain. Tum sab neechay chalo main bas 2 min main aati hoon."
Everyone kept telling her that 2 mins mean 2 mins not 2 hours. And if they find her sleeping then each individual will bring a huge jug full of water. Geet started laughing and started pushing everyone out the door. After closing the door behind her she looked at her bed and then the bathroom door. She sighed and chose the bathroom door. Geet walked like a zombie to the bathroom. She then had a a flashback of Maan. How he entered her house at night through the balcony and how she hit him with a stick. Geet laughed and smacked her hand on her forehead.
"I think maine unko finally pagal ker hi diya hai!"
Precap: Chalo guys start dreaming of the next part. What now? My old and same ghissa pitta dialogue! LOL! XD
