Had Gauri not been so insanely possessive and been a little understanding - Jagya wud have gone and came back in 2 days and everything wud have been fine. He had tried a lot to reason with her and said - she wants to meet me and she's serious. I'll come back in 2 days. Why cud Gauri not be sensitive to the situation ?
But Jagya is solely responsible for not calling the hospi to get permission about leave, not handing over patients and not checking in regularily to ask about what's happening at the hospi. One has a responsible job and that job requires a responsible person to fulfill it. Jagya needs this boot on his ass to realize that he is not considered fit to be a doctor. Am so glad he got it. This is a life lesson and is good for him and may improve his dedication in future.
The dean's speech was very complete and on the dot - I agreed with everything. đJ needed to get this speech from someone and listen to it. So far Bhairon used to tell him so and umpteen occassions but J wud always look away and look to DS for sympathy and not bother about it.
This time - he doesn't have the choice to not bother. All his colleagues including Gauri WILL graduate before him and he'll lose respect with the hospi staff too. I do hope J will stick it out and show he has Bhairon's blood and do his job with dedication from now and give his exams when he is next allowed to sit for them.
