PART 17

Hai friends.

thanks for the friends who gave cmnts n likes.

It was two months..maan was fully cured.he avoided sleeping in his room..his room only reminded of his wife..their romance..their love..their cute fights...he started to sleep in study,library,living room..wherever he wants..if he enters his room,he will talk to his wives photo,assuming she is there with him..his life revolved round jaanvi..He could not take his eyes from his baby..her eyes ,her hair her nose her colour, her smile ..every thing was a replica of drashti...

Dadi after a great struggle made maan to go to office..he dont want to be away from baby..but,dadi showed the dropping of kc's market value...so,he started to go to Kc..official works was too much in the absence of him..it made him slowly recover from the loss of his wife..he started to shout at the staffs unnecessarily,letting his frustration on them..adi n pinky was always with him to control him..n make him realize that he is shouting on all without any reasons..

geet was living a life,which she felt as burden for herself n for others too..once geet said to dadi..she wants to leave Km..but dadi made her promise she will not leave till she gets cure.dadi asked her to think about baby..can the baby live without her now..just for the sake of baby n baby's health she accepted to stay in km..she is still dependent on the maid.one leg was still not supporting her to get out of bed of her own..

only if jhanvi was with her,the maid will think geet is alive..otherwise geets eyes will be fixed in the ceiling with no emotions or without moving...she did not talk to anyone..dadi tried her best to make geet speak..geet will listen but not respond...maan will see from the window or doorstep..day by day his guilt was increasing seeing geet like that..they both didnot talk to each other...maan never entered her room...after geet feeding baby,if baby was awake the maid will give to maan..n he will be spending his time with her..if baby was sleeping he will give back to the maid n baby will be again in the cradle with geet in her room..from when maan started to go to office geet got more time to spend with baby...according to jhanvi...the warmth of touch she feels from the persons she knew is ;,geet is her mom...maan is her papa..vicky is chachu..dadi is par dadi..other than them she knows is adi ,pinky bua n priya didi.n maid..this is the faces she recognize..

vicky will come n play with jhanvi..he has also lost his happiness seeing the family looking sad,lost in the thoughts of the past...the house was no longer giving happiness to him.it was always filled with deadly silence.he started to lack in studies n keep aloof from all..the house silence broke only with the sounds of the cry of jhanvi or giggles of her..thats the gud thing being a child ..nothing affects the baby..happy nor sorrow..

maan one day thought geet must also speak her heart out..if she cant speak to them,she can atleast speak to her loved ones...geet has now taken out of the room,seated in wheel chair ..the maid took her around the house n around the garden..sometimes will be sitting along with dadi...but,nothing changed her...she remained the same...it was one day,geet was out with maid...baby was sleeping...maan came to the room n removed all the wall hangings n replaced it with her husband n friends photos..he kept 2 photos of guru on either side of her bed...he came out... he waited outside the room...after settling geet in bed ,the maid came out to get water..geet looked at the pictures.. n as he expected geet broke out..she extended her hand n took her husbands photo...she kissed n hugged the photo to her chest n cried...
maan saw it...
geet:guru,i'll come to you soon...just wait for me for few days more...
afer 2 long months she spoke n that pushed maan more in remorse n guilt
maan left the place without making noice..

a few more days passed...
it was a saturday night..maan worked in living room n slept there itself...sunday morning.the maid brought geet to living room,with baby in her hands...maan woke up with the sound of baby...maneets eyes met..maan lowered his eyes seeing the pain behind her eyes..he left to his room to freshup.dadi n vicky came. dadi took the baby in her arms..
vicky:dadi,humare princess has wake up..
jhanvi smiled...
ughugh...😃ha...
making a cheeky smile n showing its dimples..
dadi:atleast u r smiling baby..this house has lost its smile..
she wiped her tears kissing jhanvi..
the maid settled geet in the sofa.placing her legs stretched on the table,removing some files n placing beside geet...she went to geets room to clean..

geet saw the files spread on the table.n next to her.
she took it n read it...there was a lots of work bending in it..n the presentation date was mentioned two days later..
she,thought about maan n his red eyes due to lack of sleep..
she tried to help him n started to work on the rest..
when maan came back,he stood half way in stairs,seeing geet working in full concentration..
dadi n vicky playing with jhaanvi...
maan:uhmm..wo..wo...ge,,et...i'll ,,do...it..u take rest..
he splitted his words n said with hesitation..they were in the same house n never spoke to each other,,
geet:its ok sir..i'm not in position to help anyone..but in this way i can help u..
she has spoken a full sentence after months..
dadi st:why i didnot think this way..if maan can get out of his past drowning in work..then why not geet..
dadi:maan beta...she is right...let her do something that can help u n herself too..she is still ur secretary maan.
maan did not say anything..

least they new whom geet is..n making her work under him after all the truth he knew about geet ,is impossible..can he treat her the same way as before..but,he cant stop admiring this womenly girl,who is so much down to earth...

geet took his silence as acceptence..
they started to work silently..maan kept a lappy n a printer near her for her facility..they both had their breakfast together n coffee together ..
maan left the place when ever baby cried for feed..after a few hrs,geet was often stretching her back..it has been more than two months she is sitting straightly n working continuosly..
maan silently took all the paper works she was doing n kept it in her room...
maan looked at the maid..she understood what maan is saying..
maid:mam,u need rest..
geet:let me finish this..
maan:u can continue after a while..take a nap..
she simply accepted..she is still her boss..
after taking a small rest,geet continued her work from bed..maan had to come to her room often to get the details on the working project...by evening they both finished it successfully...

vicky came by evening ,when geet was again lost in her world...but,today she turned n looked at vicky when he entered the room...vicky has also tried to behave friendly n talk with her..but,geets silence made him back...
vicky :i came to see princess..
geet:hmmm..
vicky looked at geet...first time she has responded to him..
vicky came near the craddle..n saw the baby sleeping..
vicky:she is sleeping..
geet:hmmm..
vicky turned to move..his phone buzzed..
he took it immediately not to make the baby awake..
vicky:hello..
yash:vicky,have u finished preparing for tomorrows seminar..
vicky sighed..
vicky:seminar..tomorrow..but,,i dont remember..
yash:i reminded u before u left college.u have done half already...yaar tumna..aaj kal bohut koi hui ho...whats happening 2 u?
vicky:really ..i forgot...entering my house i forget everything..i dont feel like doing anything...coming to college is also i'm doing like a duty only for dadis happiness..maan bhai tho mujse kuch bhi nehi kehthi..wo apni gham mein hi rehthi hai...aur dadi unhei dekhar parishan rehthi hai.. un dono ko dekkar mujei kuch bhi acha nehi lagtha..sirf ye princess hai ..i feel ,i'm in home seeing her innocent smile only..
he sighed..
vicky:koi mujse teekh se baath bhi nehi kartha..i m always lost in them..then only i'll remember my college work na..
yash:yaar..dont be upset..sab kuch teek hojayega..n now go n do ur work..
vicky:kash bahabhi hothi..
yash:kyun
vicky:she use to help me in my home works...
yash:uski pehle tumhe kaun help kiya..
vicky:bhai ne...after drashti bhabhi came na..she never let bhai help me...she was always first to come to my room n help...
vicky had tears..
vicky:ok yaar..mein rakthi hoon..mujei akelahi karna padega..bohut kuch complete karna bakhi hai.
yash:ok bye..tc..c u tomorrow..
vicky:bye..
he kept the phone n turned to geet
vicky:sry ..i disturbed u..
with that he started to leave her room..
geet:if u dont mind i can help u..
vickys face brightened...he turned..
vicky:sachi
geet nodded yes..
vicky ran to his room n brought his books,charts n lappy...he started to show what he has collected n what he has prepared...geet guided him to work in his project n make notes..how to give the seminar next day..she high lighted the points which he must say stressing the words while presenting n marking the points..dadi saw geet from distance..today she has seen the change in her..she told maan to give her some works regularly..so,that geet will be able to come out of past..maan accepted as he too noticed the change in her...

Present

vicky was sitting with Jaanvi n abhidya..
vicky:ur mama was too talented...she helped me in my seminar..It was my best seminar,which was appreciated by all...
jaanvi n abhidya in unison:we know chachu...our mama is the best
vicky chuckled..
vicky:yes..of course..she is the best..i cant forget how bhabhi suppressed all her pains inside her...she made a hard shell over her...do you both want to see ur parents past photos...
they both hesitated..they themselves dont know how will they react..
vicky:if u both want to know about the past fully,u want to see their past through ur eyes also..
they both accepted..
vicky:follow me..
vicky went to maneets room n took a key from there..he came down n opened the door lock...
jaanvi:chachu,this door will open always only on my b'day na...we will smell only the smoke of pooja...but mama n papa never allowed us inside this room...whats here?
vicky:u both get inside..u will get the answer of ur own..
jaanvi n abhidya stood rooted seeing the photos in the room..two walls filled with maan n drashtis photos...the other two walls filled with geet n gurmeets photos..in both they both were full in love with their partners..
vicky:this is the room bhabhi stayed when she met with accident..this is the room which bhabhi started to treat u as her own child..this isthe room which i came 2 play with u..

abhi was looking drashtis photo
abhi:didi..u look like a copy of drashti mama..
vicky never expected abhi will accept maans past so soon..
jaanvi was also too over whelmed to see her mothers photo for first time..over than it was her brothers acceptence..he called drashti as maa even before she calls or feels..

they both touched drashtis photos..
abhi:chachu,if this room has so much gud memories then why mama n papa locked this room..
they both were touching each n every photos n feels their happiness..
vicky:to forget the past n live the present...n they open only on jaanvis b'day..bcoz it was the day which they both lost their love...they both dont want to forget it also..so,they do pooja on that day to give their soul rest in peace...

Past

next day evening vicky stormed into geets room happily..
vicky:bcoz of you,i did my seminar well..n the proff..appreciated me..u know all said today my presentation is the best..the credit goes to u..
geet:its all ur work..
vicky:but u only helped me ..
geet didnot say anything..
kuwaaa...kuwaaa...jaanvi cried loudly
vicky:why she is crying..is she hungry..
geet:no..u disturbed her sleep..ur sudden voice has made her scared..
vicky:sry princess..chachu excited hogayi..he took the baby in his arms n tried to make her sleep..she did not stop..
geet:give me..u cant make her sleep..
vicky gave the baby to geet..
baby was making faces like its complaining to her..
geet:ok..ok..dont cry baby..i know,ur chachu disturbed ur sleep...he dont know u r sleeping..now u sleep dear...so ja..
baby twisted its lips showing its anger..
geet:tho..humari baby gussa ho..teek hai hum papa ko bathayenge...aur wo tumhare chachu ko daatenge..
..she placed the baby on her shoulder n patted her back..the baby's cry slowly faded into sobs n she slept..
vicky was little amazed ,how cutely she talked to jaanvi n made her sleep..
he is seeing for the first time,geet talking nicely...that too only to baby..

days started to move..geet helped maan n vicky in their works..she was coming out of the shell slowly..she has now started to answer if anyone asked her something too...at the end of three months dr.came n checked her..dr.told geet to try to walk few steps inside the room without stressing her right leg.with the help of stick..she tried her best with the help of maid..maan will see her..her face full of pain ..but she never winced...this pain is nothing than the pain loosing loved ones..she never ever expressed it to anyone...at night she will talk to gurus photo..pouring her heart out.telling him she will come soon to him..she dont want to live in this lonely world...maan will silently hear her cry n leave the place...he wants to ask her forgiveness...but,whenever he will face her,he did not have the courage to ask..he will say something else n come out...

now geet started to walk within the room with the help of maid on one side n stick on other side.. though it pained...that day maid took 2 hrs permission to go out for her personal work.only maan was there in house..vicky has went 2 friends house n dadi to mandir..maan heared babys cry...

ngaaa..ngaaa..

maan came n saw geet trying to lift baby from cradle from her bed..she was struggling..
maan:kya hua baby..why are u crying..baby ko khelna hai..papake saath..
maan lifted the baby n started to move out...
geet:sir...dont take her now..she stopped him..
maan knotted his brows questioning why..
geet looked here n there,little emberressed..
geet saw baby still crying..
geet:hmm.wo..wo..jaanu is hungry..
maan wacked himself for his stupidity.so,only she was trying to take baby from cradle...he gave the baby to geet n came out...nowadays he is seeing her like his baby's mother..

few minutes later he came back to geets room to ask her for a file..baby was near her in bed..geet was restless..she was looking at the entrance then washroom..first maan could not understand why her eyes are moving here n there.when she hold her stomach ...he understood..
maan:do u want any help geet..
geet:umm..no sir..just feeling sleepy.place .baby in cradle...maan could read her facial expressions pain n lie..
maan placed the baby in cradle..geet closed her eyes n pretended to sleep..maan moved to wash room n opened the door...he kept her stick inside..he came n scooped geet in his arms..
geet opened her eyes in shock..she saw herself in maans arms..
geet:sir..what are u doing..😲.
maan did not say anything..he placed her on her foot inside the restroom making her stand ..he gave her the stick for support..
maan:when u are finished call me..
she looked at him..
he left her alone closing the door ...he stood outside..he heared the sound of water..she moved slowly to door holding the wall n stick..n opened the door...maan again took hr in his arms n placed her on the bed..geet was very emberressed..😳.she felt a strange feeling when he touched her..

how can another man touch me other than guru..no..he did this to help me only..his intesions are not wrong..as i love my husband he loves his wife...she said to herself..

geet..sry.n .thanks sir..
maan:u dont want to say anything geet..jo tumne kiya hai na..uskeliye mein zindagi barki yesan mun hoon..i dont know how to ask sorry for what i did..
geet thought it as he took her in his arms.so,he is saying sry for that..
geet:dont feel sry sir.the situation was so..u r only helping me now na..
maan:thanks...geet ,i came to ask u for the gurgaon project file...
geet:sir its there...i ve finished the reports..u can check it..
maan:uhmm...
maan saw baby throwing its legs n hand s n playing..
maan:i'll keep jaanvi with me for some time..
geet:u dont want 2 ask permission from me..she is ur daughter..
though she said,maan could feel her throat chocking...
maan st:my rash driving made her life n my life a living hell..atleast i have a reason to live..i have smashed not only her family ..her hapiness too..

it was four months..
geet started to walk around with the help of stick limbing a little..the maid's family got in some trouble,so she went back to her home..

geet was too possessive with jhaanvi..After maid left,she herself started to take care of the baby n didnt allow any other servants to take care of baby..From bathing jaanvi to changing diapers she herself did it...maan or daadi could not say anything as the baby also allowed only geet to take care of her..if any of strangers took her she will cry badly..,which will end up in heavy breathing...so,they all left to jaanvis wish bcoz of her health...geet started to have her breakfast with them in dining..she dont want any one troubling for her..as much as could she did her works herself without bothering others...

here in kc..
sasha tried to impress maan ,as his wife is no more.she thought she can try her luck...but maan kept all staffs away from him other than adi n pinky...noone knew about geet..they only knew geet met with an accident n she is in leave...some colleagues ,who cared for her went to see her in apartment .as maan has shifted geets things. the new tenants doesnt know about the whereabouts..they were disappointed...later they came to know geet is working from home for kc..but none know where she is..her preperations of files was appreciated by the staffs...her absence did not affect the work...as geet did every work perfectly...even sometimes maan would refer geets name in conference hall about her work...this made sasha jealous...she was waiting for the day which she can spoil geets image...and the day came...

that was a great day for khurana constructions .They had a big presentation to be done..all the staffs were running here n there...Major work was done by geet..she copied all works from lappy n made a CD n gave to maan..maan gave to sasha ..
maan:sasha,this is presentation CD...go through it once ..so u can present it..
sashas st"us ladki ka presentation mein dhoon...no way...
her criminal mind planned immediately n she dropped the cd while taking from maans hands n the cd broke...
maan was in hyper
maan:sasha,what u did😡
sasha:i'm sry sir..it slipped ..idk..how it happened..she faked crocodile tears..
maan:what will we do now..the clients will come in half an hour..this is a big deal..how can u be so careless..
sasha..sir,i'll try to make it up with other files..we still have half an hour ..i can do it..
maan was not convinced..but he has no other option..
maan shouted..:.then go n make it soon..

adi came n asked him why he is so tensed...n maan said the reason...
maan:adi,if sasha has gone thru it..then only she could have presented it...now..how?
adi:one solution is there.
maan:what?
adi:geet..
maan:geet..what do u want to say...
adi:if geet has prepared this..only she could do this presentation also..we can call her n say our situation..
maan:she is still not recovered...n i dont think she will come to kc..
adi:without talking to her ,how can u make decisions..
maan sighed..
maan:ok..u call her ..but dont force her..i can face the loss ..but dont want to hurt her again..
adi:ok..she will come here..only if she wishes..
maan:ok..

Adi called KM immediately..
nakul took the phone..
adi:nakul,phone geet ko dho..
nakul:ji adi bhai..
nakul gave the phone to geet
adi:hello geet..ek problem hogayi..u only can help us..
geet:what?
adi:the cd u gave has broken...now u only can save us..clients will be coming at any moment..
geet:but how..
adi:if u come to kc n give the presentation,if we did not give this today kc will be facing a heavy loss..n its fame..pls save us..
geet hesitated..she hasnt gone out of km other than hospital..
geet:but bhai..jaanu.she is sleeping.dadi has went to hospital for her master check up..
adi was happy..she did not refuse him..she has understood the situation..
adi:you come here with baby..i'll tell pinky to take care of jaanvi..priya bhi yahi hai..i'll tell the driver to be ready in front..
geet:ok..i'm coming..

geet took a bag n stuffed some toys,dress n diapers for baby..she took the laptop.she looked at herself...she is till in the hospital dress light blue pant n shirt...it was always comfortable for her..now she must change..she went to the room where her things were kept..she fished all the bags...tears fell seeing all of them..she atlast took a saree n weared it..she called nakul n ask him to keep the things in car..she took the sleeping baby in arms n headed towards the car,which is waiting for her..
seeing the sunrays,she closed her eyes..she sat in the car..after a while ,she reached KC...

Precap:maan was in remorse again..but why...
maaneet n baby regular to office..
