In fact, the CVs never claimed he would be opposite Rati or he is parallel main lead.. In fact, his role was quite similar to Mandira if Gargi can be called as parallel female lead, then surely Mrunal is also parallel male lead.

Articles mostly carry rumour, even the one that sameer and Indu marrying was out which we now know how big bakwaas article that was and then sam friend from US article...

Had they been clear about Mrunal role from the beginning he entered... I don't think anyone would have hated Sameer character as much he was hated... I think these misleading articles are the root cause for not having peace in the forum... I know so many sameer fans were pinning hopes of Sara because of that article, which was never the plan of CVs from the start.

may be u are right...but the role was offered to bijlani first and the plan was to gain popularity on arti name...and that article was true...bijlani even mentioned that he leaved the role for payment cases...warna he would have done it...so agar character villan ka hi tha...to arjun kyun accept karne ki soach raha tha...
about pinning hopes about sara...all are destroyed now...we can just wish that rape thing isn;'t true...but then its impossible...we heared mandira shout even today...but surely what connected us to sameer werethe first 3 4 sara interactions...they were quiet awesome...even the bro's weren't introduced as enemies in their first meeting...they slowly turned...
