Yes, when AB was offered the role, the idea was to catch in the popularity of Rati and AB as couple, probably then they had plans of pairing them in the future, may be..

but, once he was out of equation or if he didn't like this sameer role with negative shades and opted out, then Mrunal was offered.

So, I think CVs struct to the original plot of introducing a parallel lead as the brother for the Main lead and not opposite Rati.

Now, it is clear for everyone and I do feel sorry for you guys and for Mrunal they have completely destroyed his character. I thought we all made fun of his OCD attributes, but his negative role is bit too much.

characters are not changed...they are written first and than auditions take place...so whatever arjun was offered with got offered to mrunal for me... and till i know about writing...even if we will ask cvs that what will happen after one month in hd...even they don't know...story isn't written before...it written slowly and gradually ...tracks by tracks...this i got to know from director interviews from mjht ...😊
ya it would have been fun enjoying his kanjoosi and all...but cvs actualy degrade the character...he is no more a character which can make laugh...he makes angry now...
