Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is doing fairly well in showbiz, says it is very important to be on the top but at the same time, feels it is difficult to say who is No 1 or No 2.

"It is very important to be No 1. Since school days one wants to be No 1. In this competitive world, you have to be No 1 - whether in school or anywhere else. That doesn't mean you stamp on people's faces," said Priyanka, the brand ambassador of Nikon, during the unveiling of a new camera range.

"But it is impossible to decide who is No.1 or No.2. Nobody can decide who is No 1. An actress tends to do three to four films a year and all that films cannot be a hit. We make so many films in a year," she added the former Miss World.

Asked who according to her is very photogenic, the 29-year-old said: "You have to be photogenic if you want to be an actress. I am photogenic. Rekhaji is very photogenic. Dharmendarji with the kind of features he has, he is always smiling. Among my contemporaries, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone are very photogenic."

I agree with her. If your not number one or among the top 3 actresses or actors for that matter...no one gives you any attention...from fans, media, directors, and even co-stars ignore the non populars! So yeah it is important to be number one and that too always. Once u fall, there is no coming back hence pretty and rani days are over sadly.

LOL...i think she is more pissed with Vidya more than kareena these days...she recently avoided a question on how she felt vidya being called a hero...everyone looks insecure...😆 oh i am loving this...such competitions dont matter much priyanka what matters is the real competition in which u r farrr...beyond

@off topic...why are these IMTF promoting so much😕...i tried to register and they are asking an entry fee.🥱...jerks..though i need to applause US tht they bring such kind of contests...otherwise...india mein to aise contests hote hi nahi hai and if they are..either they turn into scams or they announce the winners but never get their prizes, my cousin has won a car and the organizers have bbeen just excusing since 3 years...😡perverts

She doesn't have to name them.. The question isn't name all bollywood actresses who are photogenic.. She named Deepika and Katrina, who she always does, and they actually are the most photogenic..
And this isn't even about her hate equation with kareena.. I bet if Kareena was asked the same thing she may not mention PC either.. Who knows? It's personal choice.

I disagree with you. It is not always about being #1. Or about being in the top 3 actresses category. It is also not true that no one gives you attention...Rani, Madhuri, Karisma, Juhi, Preity...I agree there highest peeks in their career are over, but the fans of these actresses have continued to showcase their love and support for these actresses. They are still in the news, still talked about within the media, and all of them are making a comeback on screen (except Juhi I think). They are NOT ignored by their co stars!

I agree that these actresses have now become overshadowed by the newer lot & and they won't see the success that they once saw. But neither will most people forget that these were the actresses that could act! In the newer lot only Anushka has that capability in my opinion. These were the actresses that gave a new meaning to "acting"! Actresses today have ruined it!

It's not about a number, it's about your talent and how you present it. If you have fans, you'll do well. If you chose good scripts, you'll do well. If if you're the worst actress on the planet but you have a large fan base you'll do well! But as I said it's not about the number, it's about your hard work and dedication that you put into a film and how much it pays off with the audience.
