Tejy: Pregnant women can have pain, fainting, and all other symptoms in first 3 months even if they have low risk pregnancy. These 3 months are very tender and most miscarriages happen during this time so extra care and precaution needs to be taken. They say second trimester is a honeymoon period of pregnancy and third is painful again.
Miscarriages in the first trimester happen because of genetic abnormalities...there may be an extra chromosome or a missing chromosome or some other problem in implantation, etc. that causes the inability of the embryo to survive. It's not in the hands of the woman at all/doesn't really have much to do with the actions of the mother...the placenta doesn't even form until the second trimester (the root of morning sickness) so the intake of the woman can't even really affect the baby as much as it would once the placenta has developed.
Pain and fainting I can understand...many of the symptoms of morning sickness would also be there but having swelling/spraining in the ankles? That wouldn't happen until the 5-6th month or at least once there is some weight on her ankles from carrying the weight of the baby. And how can so many complications be diagnosed right away in the first month? The baby has just started development...wouldn't it be difficult to diagnose the severity of risk that early unless it was diagnosed beforehand that Malti's body would have complications with carrying a child.
