Gupshup:

LOL, my update was super long and detailed today so my gupshup will be short and sweet for today.

I'm glad that Nani ma wasn't mad for long or didn't completely hate Toasty after the pooja...it was more like an outburst and then she cooled down right away the same day. I loved, loved, loved that Pitaji stood up for Toasty today and that even afterwards when he was talking to Dadaji, he was upset that Nani ma was treating Toasty like a scape goat when it was equally their fault as well. And then there was Dadaji pointing out that Chedi had treated Toasty in a similar manner many times before 😆 and then Pitaji trying to deny it 😆 It was funny when Dadaji tricked Pitaji into promising that he would donate a gold coin to God if everything in the house became good soon...it's cute when Dadaji tries to change Pitaji's kanjoosi.

No prizes for guessing that Tejy fully enjoyed the TejYa scene today 🤣 I probably watched it at least a million times in a row ☺️ and I'm sure the CVs were trying to kill me by giving me 3!! TejYa hugs in one scene! My heart stopped beating for the longest time 😆 Love whenever Tej comes to make Toasty feel better when she is crying and upset <3 He's the sweetest husband <3 Bechaara has to deal with saas-bahu drama now...up until now voh bach gaye the...now he's stuck...(but obviously he'll take his dhoban's side 🤣)

Ab Tej ke tarah, Ved bhi hogaye joru ka ghulam 😆...actually scratch that...Chaturvedi pati hona toh joru ka ghulam hona 🤣 All three of them are...I'm sure Prachin will be the first one to break that tradition as he would fight with Dimple before doing anything for her 😆 It was hilarious and cute at the same time to see Ved slowly transform into a romantic...all those deep eye locks and lost in his own world 😆 Junior KG se graduation hone vaala hai 🤣 🤣 I love it when Tej and Pashu pick on him...their jokes on him are the best.

After the first scene, the Nani ma that I saw in today's episode was awesome!! Loved the nice way that she offered to teach them everything and how even when she scolded them or said anything to them after that, it was with love <3 Again, I'm glad she has no hard feelings towards Toasty after the pooja incident. 😊

The oil scene was also very cute...of course Tej, the city hero, won't want his hair oiled...he's just made the transformation from worst dressed to dressing like a hero...he can't afford to lose his new cool image, mere bechaara jaanu 🤣 and Toasty trying to get him trapped 😆 Very cute!

More than Prachin, it was hilarious seeing Gyaan in Ved's kurta...he was drowning in it 🤣

And looks like Malti is having an allergy to the kaada Nani ma is definitely going to give Toasty and Malti a hard time when Toasty tries to tell her what the doctor said...I hope I'm wrong otherwise poor Malti is going to become the shikaar of Nani ma's zidd. Vaise speaking of Malti maateshwari and her pregnancy...(I can't get over TV medicine guys...being the field I'm studying, it really hits home 😆) I've already had my rant over how her complications shouldn't even be diagnosed this early in her pregnancy...now for my next rant of the day. How is someone who hasn't even finished the first trimester of her pregnancy having such a hard time already? Matlab, her ankles hurting already!?!? She's not even showing yet!! The baby is barely developed/adding any weight to her and already she's experiencing the plights of a woman who is halfway through a pregnancy. Looks like her pregnancy is one straight out of Breaking Dawn 🤣 🤣, it's progressing at such a rate that I wouldn't be surprised if the baby was born in two weeks 🤣 Are we sure that Pashu isn't a vampire!?!? 🤣

Chalo...that's all I have for today 😆 I'll see you all tomorrow!! 😊

Tejy: Pregnant women can have pain, fainting, and all other symptoms in first 3 months even if they have low risk pregnancy. These 3 months are very tender and most miscarriages happen during this time so extra care and precaution needs to be taken. They say second trimester is a honeymoon period of pregnancy and third is painful again.

Miscarriages in the first trimester happen because of genetic abnormalities...there may be an extra chromosome or a missing chromosome or some other problem in implantation, etc. that causes the inability of the embryo to survive. It's not in the hands of the woman at all/doesn't really have much to do with the actions of the mother...the placenta doesn't even form until the second trimester (the root of morning sickness) so the intake of the woman can't even really affect the baby as much as it would once the placenta has developed.

Pain and fainting I can understand...many of the symptoms of morning sickness would also be there but having swelling/spraining in the ankles? That wouldn't happen until the 5-6th month or at least once there is some weight on her ankles from carrying the weight of the baby. And how can so many complications be diagnosed right away in the first month? The baby has just started development...wouldn't it be difficult to diagnose the severity of risk that early unless it was diagnosed beforehand that Malti's body would have complications with carrying a child.

Thanks for the update :)

And yeah like abc said, a lot of women experience pains, vomiting and many other physical difficulties in first 3 months. When I was pregnant, I didn't vomit till my third trimester but my ankles and legs were sore from week 3! My midwife at that point told me its very normal and doesn't depend on weight of baby. My baby was very little when she was born so I kind of understand what she meant. My friend was also pregnant when I was and she was vomiting through out but didn't get any ankle/leg pains - her baby was huge! Her baby's weight when born was same as my baby's weight when she was 2 months...

So yeah I think it's very normal for Malti to complain of ankle/leg pains. And also very normal for doctors to say her pregnancy is complicated as when first blood tests are done and doctor checks heart rate and stuff they can tell whether or not it's ok. I'm not sure if Malti did blood tests but when doctor checked heart rate she can tell a lot of things! My midwife - just by checking by heart rate told me I was having a girl 😕 😆

I do agree that most first trimester miscarriages are attributed to chromosomal abnormalities but there do exist other causes as well. For example, if a woman is bleeding/spotting and has a hematoma growing inside or if women have cysts and fibroids or if multiple pregnancies are seen early on but couple of weeks later one or two of them stop growing (vanishing twin), they pose the risk to the growing one.

Also, in first trimester, the true reason for tiredness, dizzyness and/or morning sicknes/nausea is due to the surge of new hormones in the body, more specifically HCG and progesterone. Some pregnant women have to be hospitalized and given IV fluids as they just are not able to eat or keep the food inside.

You are right that in first trimester, mother's diet is not required by baby because baby is feeding on the progesterone but as soon as women reach second trimester placenta takes over and baby shares mother's diet. In first trimester, good diet and fluids are all required for good health of mother. However, prenatal multivitamins are necessary for proper baby development.

So, problem in pregnancy can be diagnosed early on either based on women's history or with the help of combination of tests (ultrasound, blood, urine) and her symptoms.
