my thoughts on new Promo walking in the rain...eva - Page 3

The song selection for the promo truly fits their situation perfectly! The first time I read the WU I was kind of confused as to how it correlated, but after watching it multiple times it makes complete sense. And with that added voice over that goes and says that the rain will become a catalyst in washing away all of Aarti/Yash's misunderstandings, it really put things in perspective and at the same time hints at the future of their relationship.

So far every song they have chosen whether it be for the promos or for AarYa song sequence has been a perfect match for not just the scenes but for their emotions as well, and they all seem to foreshadow future events in their life and how their relationship will unfold. I absolutely love all the symbolism about the rain, because really rain breathes life into everything, whether it be dry land or extinguished souls, and the fact that it is raining during their first real encounter is really a beautiful setting. These writers really are going above and beyond to make us look at everything in between the lines because they're dropping hints left, right and center, we just need that eye to spot it.

I LOVE this promo...it's seriously giving me goosebumps.

This is my all time favorite song, lyrics puts you in mood already and intensity in Aarti's and Yash's eyes takes the song to next level.

Yes I think every one has loved this promo and I hope that CVs do not disappoint us and use the environment of rain and beautiful dark night and silence which talks and the expressive eyes which talk.. not a word but just mutual silence and then the understanding dawn on Aarti that Yash is not "Mansi type" but "Aarti type"

@Eva: I love what you said about the mutual silence, I have a feeling that we're going to be seeing them interacting silently with their eyes and actions for a while, at least till they're a little comfortable with each other, and it will be interesting to see how many things they pick up about the other person in this silence mode. I also think that in some time Aarti is going to start getting along nicely with her new in laws (mostly Prateek, Paridi and Viddhi), so she'll start coming out of her shell at least in front of them, and I hope that this is something Yash takes into notice, because he is the one who is going to leading this relationship forward and he is going to need these little nudges once in a while that opens his eyes and makes him look deeper into Aarti's character. In the beginning it might also be nice if he accidentally overhears her conversation withe Viddhi or Paridi and gets to know more about her, because until they start getting used to each other's presence in their life this new transition is going to be difficult! But we already know that fate/destiny is their biggest shipper, so even in their silence they'll somehow find ways to come near each other :)

Yes I absolutely loved their mutual silence and the way they have glanced each other while other was not looking around... It was very peacful silence as if those two have read so many things about each other without being told or talked..

Nice post. Like it.. Oh.. even if Arti is started to understand using her brain and bring things properly, that stupid woman Mansi will impose her false ideas again I think – saying this is the first stage of flirting etc. Anyway, that will be good I think. When she understands he is not such an idiot - but he is loving, caring, supportive and most important he respects women – then Arti will admire him and start to fall in love with him and will love more than anyone . 😉😃😆
