Ok here is my take the so called quality time that Sunny and Preeto spend with each other.
After the delicious dinner bebe had got prepared. Sonu goes to bed as she is tired, Preeto and sunny sit out in the courtyard speaking about Sunny, his childhood ,how he grew up with his grand parents , learning from them. At this Preeto says "aapko patha hai sunny ji RB bhi apne Dada dadi ko bahoth maante hai , unki hamesha missal dete hai ,... she abruptly stopped realising what she had been saying.
Sunny who had already sensed her closeness and attachment toward RB asks her "Aap RB se door kyon jana chahti hai Preeto ji ?"
Preeto tries to dodge the question but realises she has to tell Sunny the truth , after all any relation based on lies would eventually fail . Preeto tells Sunny about herself and RB, about NA's blackmail, about Ishu's photo. She also tells him Simi loves RB, and they are best friends hence simi will be the correct life partner for RB.
Preeto :" it may take me time to forget RB but believe me I will always be true to our relationship , I will not let the past overshadow our future Sunny ji "
Sunny asks Preeto the same question she had one day asked NA ..." how will you make RB fall in love with Simi"
Sunny : " I believe you and I also Love you dearly no doubt about it. How do you think RB will ever forget you when you yourself cant let go of him, True love happens only once and it is something that you are blessed " " you have every right to sacrifice your love / emotions / desire. As of now you think RB will eventually fall in love with Simi ... what if he doesn't As of now you think you will forget RB ... What if you cant , right now you think NA will return the photos and not destroy your sister marriage ... What if she doesn't stick to her words later , What if Beeji and papaji get to know the true reason why you agreed to get married to me wont they be shattered... Whom will this sacrifice of your benefit if RB and Simi aren't happy , if beeji and papaji aren't happy , if Ishu di is not able to save her marriage, If you aren't happy ... why do you think so many people should go thru misery because you want to save your families honor, your sisters marriage? How can you decide the lives of so many people.
Preeto : "Tho mein kya karu sunny ji , NA says the only way I can convince RB to forget me is by getting married ... If I don't get married she will send the photos to my house and even then my parents will be shattered Ishu di's marriage will break, Simi who is a very nice friend and kind hearted girl will be heartbroken "
Sunny : " And RB... what about him Preeto ... what about you ... what about your lives "
Preeto : Simi is a very nice girl she will be a good wife to RB ... and Me ... for me my family has always been priority before my desires. I am sorry Sunny ji , I should have told you about this earlier , I didn't mean to deceive but believe me I will be true to our relationship.
Sunny : No Preeto ji there must be a way out of this ...
After thinking for sometime ...
Sunny : " I have a plan, what if we fake our marriage saying Bebe wanted us to get married as she was very unwell" .
Preeto : But how will we convince Beeji and Papaji
Sunny : you leave that to me , I will convince them that we can have an elaborate wedding later. Once we get back to Amritsar , you get the photos and the soft copy from NA then we will speak to RB and tell him the truth.
Preeto : Ok
The next day Preeto convinces Sonu to be a part of their plan
They return to Amritsar, Its Holi everyone is enjoying . As Preeto comes to the lawn to play holi , RB sees her and wants to talk to her tell her he trusts her, he knows she still loves him as he wants to go towards her he tries to stand up from his wheelchair and walk upto her but falls as she comes to he him get up the smile on his face is washed of as sees she is already married , he pushes her hand away and says " ab kyon utane aayi ho Preeto tum ne to khud muje ek andheri khai mein dhakel diya hai" " when I heard it was because of your efforts I was found, I was happy you still loved me I wanted to come back and tell you I will stand with you thick and thin , I trust our love ... I wanted you to trust it too ...but it is too late , you have already gone too far away" " Please don't play with Sunny's life as you played with mine" Preeto wants to tell him the truth but is signalled by Sunny not to as NA was watching. RB tries to get up on his own when NA sends Simi to help him. ...(Incidentally no one but Preeto /sunny and NA hear this conversationn ... well thats how it is in the serials 😉)
She wants to cry to tell him , she still loves him, she isnt married ... its fake but not yet the time hasn't come for it ...but when it does will he still be waiting for her
